From the moment we landed at the airport we felt so relaxed & welcome.
Stavros picked us up at the airport & gave us a quick guide of the town, bus stops, Main Street, beach etc which was very welcome and got is adjusted straight away. The apartments are on a hill side which was no problem for us as we wanted the beauty full sea view. We were not disappointed with the view, size of the studio or any of the facilities.
Good internet connection, a selection of TV Chanel's for most nationalities, good location for town, beach, bus stop & super market.
Very clean, linen changed every other day. Stavros lives on site other than if you required some help or advice your left in peace to enjoy the fabulous location. Nice outside seating area to enjoy a drink & view. We'd definitely return to Eye Q apartments. Lovely stay. Thank you
Although there is no pool your welcome to use the pool & bar at Nikolas place which is basically on site & a very nice place with friendly people to take an afternoon dip & drink.

Eye Q has everything, Nice view from every balcony/terrace, great owner,Stavros, who does everything to make your stay enjoyable, very clean room thanks to Clara;-). Eye Q is Close to Skiathos town, just a short walk. It`s a 2-3 minutes walk to the nearest Beach, Megali Ammos. If you want to rent a bike, it`s just a short walk Down the alley to Acropolis rental! Or you can take the bus to any of the other beaches on the island, busstop is 2 minutes walk from Eye Q.
I noticed that some other reviewers thought the bed was hard, we thougt it was just Perfect:-).

Room Tip: Every rom has seaview.

We had the apartment of 70 m3 which is very cozy. Downstairs there were a bedroom with double bed , a bathroom , a full furnitured and worked cuzine and a lounge with 2 couches and a led sateliteTV. Big balcony with breathtaking view in Megali Ammos. Upstairs , there was another room with 2 single beds and a bathroom ,too. There was free wifi and free parking. The resort has a BBQ place, a gym place with sauna and jacuzzi. My only problem was the missing of a mosquito net in windows of balcony (I think there was destroyed and not reassembled yet). The beach is about 300 meters away and is sandy. Mr. Stavros, the owner, is always ready to make your stay more comfort. Just ask him whatever you want!!! Excellent and professional service!! I will definitely choose Eye Q Resort for my vacations in Skiathos again!!

This was a very nice holiday for us. The resort consists of 4 villas arranged in a cascade on the hillside, thus providing a sea view from virtually every room. Also, the temperature is several degrees lower than the temperature in the town, and the eastern orientation of the villas and the hill behind provide an excellent afternoon shade, so you can spend the entire afternoon on the balcony enjoying the breeze and view without feeling the heat of the afternoon. For best view and most breeze, I would propose the topmost villa.

Mr. Stavros is very professional, will personally assist you in reaching the resort by car or organize some form of pickup for you. If you arrive by car, Mr. Stavros will make sure you have a parking spot as close to the villa as possible, not more than 20-30 meters, for some in front of your doorstep. The rooms are cleaned daily, linen and towels are changed every 3 days, and Mrs Clara will even wash the dishes if you leave some behind (please do not abuse this courtesy :) ). Hot water is plentiful, and the internet will seem slow compared to current speed you have at home, but bear in mind that this is an island, and the link is shared between the guests of the resot. It is quite sufficient for e-mails and web surfing, but don't expect skype video calls or netflix streaming. In any case, you are on vacation, get out of the room ;)

The only issue (I think it is island-wide) is the number of wasps. They do not attack, but they are quite inquisitive and will investigate strong smelling food. Eating lunch on the balcony can sometimes involve a lot of flicking of wasps. But this is a tradeoff for the excellent location of the resort (just outside of the town, on the hill but still very close to everything) and is a minor thing in my book.

General tips for first time guests:
The first time guests should be aware that the hill where the villas are placed is quite steep (especially for the two topmost villas), and the alley leading to the villas is mostly wide enough for a single car. This means that you'll need a couple of 'practice drives' before being comfortable with driving up and down. There are also walkways and steps leading to the villas, and we took this option quite often, and it proved most beneficial - we didn't gain a single pound during the entire holiday.

I would suggest going to Megali Amos beach for the first day or two, it's literally 4 minutes walk from the villas to the sunbeds. For those with small children - BE CAREFUL when crossing the main road, it is quite busy, and it is not uncommon to see tipsy drivers in rented jeeps or first time drivers on scooters.

You should also explore the other beaches, Mr. Stavros provides a map for the guests in the welcome basket, so you can start from that to choose beaches. Apart from Megali Amos beach, all other beaches are farther away, so plan to drive a car, or rent a scooter/bicycle. If you use a car to the other beaches, take some time to check whether your target beach has an area where you can park, since some beaches do not have parking areas in their vicinity. You can also use the public transport buses, but we couldn't give an opinion on it's quality since we didn't use it.

The most relaxing path from Eye-Q into Skiathos town is not following the main road, but walking through the alley just below it, and then taking the alley towards the beach, up the stairs. It takes you exactly to the same point where the main road does, but it will be a relaxing stroll instead of a single file walk minding the traffic.

The largest supermarket we found in Skiathos town is the Carrefour Marinopoulos Supermarket, near Bus stop no. 3, on your right side when driving from Eye-Q resort into Skiathos town. There are a lot of local mini-markets and shops on the main road for everyday needs. The general prices of food (both in the markets and the restaurants) are quite comparable to Thessaloniki.

I hope that all this information helped the guests of Eye-Q and visitors of Skiathos in general. It is a great place for a vacation, and we definitely plan to be back.

Room Tip: For best view and most breeze, I would propose the topmost villa.
