Margot is friendly and helpful and has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the location is quiet and delightfully pretty. There are nice touches with organic products in the bathrooms and biscuits with tea and coffee in the bedrooms.
We only stayed for a pit stop on route to somewhere else but would recommend to anyone wishing to stay for a few days in the area, as the location is perfect for a short break and the accommodation of a high standard and would provide a perfect base for exploring the area.
The breakfast is excellent with freshly stewed fruit, homemade jams and the best poached eggs we have tasted in years!

I stayed with my husband and children at the Hyde Granary to attend a function at Nymans garden. We had booked both rooms and loved our stay. The location was perfect; about 10-15 minutes by car from Gatwick, and actually walking distance to Nymans (a 20-25 minute walk each way). The Hyde is very quiet, and the house is lovely restored and decorated. Margot is an excellent, attentive host, extremely helpful with anything you may need. The rooms are very comfortable, with those little extra touches such as the biscuits to go with the tea or coffee you may make in your room or the quality toiletries available in the bathrooms. Margot asks you in advance what you like to have for breakfast, so that you have everything you need absolutely fresh. Again, only quality organic products are served, and even gluten-free products, for instance, are available. I would definitely recommend the Hyde Granary to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet stay in beautiful surroundings, pampered by Margot!

There are two miles of private drive surrounded by woodland and farmland, offering a chance for walking whilst viewing the local wildlife. Deer, foxes, badgers, woodpeckers, and buzzards are all seen regularly. The Hyde Granary is situated close to Brighton, and Gatwick Airport, but not under the flight path!
