“What a luvly little place!”
Reviewed 26 November 2012 via mobile

We needed to stay in this area for a family party which we were attending (were from Yorkshire) and after scouring tripadvisor we opted for the grasmere court.

The hotel is very clean, well presented and friendly. Our room (no 5) was really luvly with a small leather sofa. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were attentive.

Just opposite is a table table pub which was nice for dinner and drinks. Keynsham village was just a short 5 min walk away.

Would definately stay here again. Thoroughilly enjoyed the weekend - thank you

Would highly recommend this family run hotel.

Warm welcome from all staff.

Room was spotless clean and warm.

Yummy breakfast

On day of departure it was raining and even though my car was only 10 yards away, owner insisted on carrying my bag to car and carried an umbrella for us. This is first class service and would definitely return.

No complaints whatsoever.

My husband and I stopped here for one night and whilst it was clean and the service was very good, the decor certainly needs updating. The room was stated as a superior one and had a sofa and large tv which was useful. The breakfast was good and the staff serving it were particularly helpful.
The shower was a disappointing trickle and at £95 for the night I would not say it was good value for money. We have stayed in a few Bristol hotels and guest houses and this would be better priced at £75. Would not stay again but well done to the staff for the good service.

Stay 2 nights for a family wedding nice and clean good linen good breakfast comfortable beds friendly service the only negetive point was that the room was very small, when I sat at the dressing table my husband have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom but the bathroom was a large with corner bath. We would stay again

This is a friendly and comfortable small hotel between Bath and Bristol. The ensuite twin room was clean and more than adequate. The breakfast was great. There's off-street parking outside and good access into Bath.

Smallish Hotel on Bath road in Keynsham. It is actually 2 separate buildings and our room was in the adjacent building. Hotel is perfectly acceptable and clean but we did have an issue with the shower which wasn't well handled by the staff. Basically the shower temperature was just full hot and uncontrollable and our neighbour had a similar issue. The staff were unable to solve the problem. We were unable to shower and on checkout the staff got upset and aggressive when I complained. Eventually resolved with a £15 discount. BTW Mehak Indian restaurant in Hotel down the road very good.

We had a friendly and efficient reception, the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, the staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful with considerable choice. We thought it was good value, would stay there again, and would certainly recommend it.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a main road, so the rooms at the front get noise from traffice, which, on a Saturday...
