If our travel agent hadn't found this for us, we would never had had the delightful experience of this lovely, hidden away chateau. It has been recently refurbished, and is located on an open area of land behind a small forest that hides it away from the road. The bedroom we had was adequate with lovely furnishings, an almost private handicapped friendly entrance. If we had eaten breakfast we could have gone down a narrow winding staircase, or
through the back, again down stairs that would have been easier with a rail, or out through the back and around. But, that would have been OK because of the delightful surroundings. It might have been difficult for a person in a wheelchair since the back way was not paved, but small gravel. We loved it here. We did have a hard time finding it in spite of having a GPS because it isn't viewable from the road though there is a large sign, but this is viewable more easily when coming up the road in the opposite direction. The service was wonderful.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd level where there were also two large social/meeting rooms. If you wanted to spend time here to relax, or meet with other for board games, this would have provided a wonderful venue.

What a beautiful little place!! We really loved our stay here. The location was nice, and the staff were super friendly... They helped in every way they could with recommendations and making sure our stay was comfortable. It is a Chateau, so keep that in mind when you book! Other reviews complained of "noise", but we are staying in Chateau that was built a long time ago! We had a very nice stay and were able to sleep through the slight "old house" sounds that occurred; maybe it was the location of our room or the time of year that we stayed there, but it was nice. Overall, YES, we would definitely stay here again!

This lovely little chateau has been recently renovated by the current owners as a labour of love and is reflected in the furnishings, decor and service. Our room was quite large and beautifully furnished with an elegant bathroom. We had access to an adjacent sitting room and other common areas downstairs. The wooded grounds and long driveway took the visitor to a quiet, peaceful and secluded place where one could rest and soak up the atmosphere.
We would definitely recommend this place to other travellers.

Service was beyond expectations. We arrived after spending several hours in the car, with most restaurants being closed. The host had mentioned in house dining, but we were skeptical due to bad hotel food in the USA. After an hour of driving around and finding no open restaurants, we headed back to the hotel. We were very pleased with the dinner that was prepared. All of the food was local and very fresh. Delicious! Eloge was the best host, and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer, as the location and hospitality were parfait!

The grounds allow for a quiet and relaxing cafe or even a meal on the patio. We highly recommend this B&B, and will come back if we are ever in France again.

Thank you for making our dream vacation something to remember.

My daughters and I phoned to say we would arrive late due to navigational errors! Owner stayed late to welcome us personally with some wonderful Cheverny Cour wine. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Le vin, Cour-Cheverny que vous avez dégusté est un vin d'appellation protégée, issu de l’agriculture biologique et produit à quelques kilomètres du château. Ravie que votre étape au château ait été agréable.
