“Excellent room and bathroom in quiet location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2013

Stayed for three nights and was completely satisfied with the accommodation and facilities. The room (Room 1) was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped and it was particularly pleasant to have a small sunny patio accessed by french doors from the room (so did not have to use the main house entrance at all) and a table and chairs on the patio. A very useful feature was the use a fridge just outside the room in the entrance hallway area (but hidden behind a panel. The breakfasts were good and special dietary needs were catered for. Good gravel surfaced area within the house grounds just outside the door to park on. The "Coastal Cruiser" No 388 (walker's bus) has a stop at Freshwater East which is a very pleasant 1.2 mile walk away along a single track country lane with high banks (took 22 minutes). The hosts Tracey and Mike were very pleasant and helpful. Would have no hesitation recommending this accommodation.

This was a very nice B&B situated in the lovely village of Hodgeston. Via sat nav it was easy to get to from Tenby, but, seemingly a tad more complicated from other directions. We received a warm welcome from the hostess and were given a very spacious room with en-suite, coffee-making facilities, bottle of waster (a nice touch) and biscuits. All was clean and tidy although the bathroom floor was in need of re-grouting, but, that is being very picky. In the house there was a lingering smell of stale cooking oil which could be easily resolved with improved ventilation. Anyway, it did not permeate into our room. Our hostess was very helpful in providing clear directions to Clear Water East. We had very enjoyable walk along the sands but do take care when descending the steep foot path to the beach. Breakfast was excellent and the entire stay was extremely good value. I would definitely book it again should we be in this area.

stayed at rosedene for 2 nights in march, not a lot to add to what others have said. beautifully kept b and b, were made very welcome by tracey, very cold outside but kept lovely and warm inside. no hesitation in saying that we would stay again and have already recommended rosedene to friends.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Rosedene. The guesthouse was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. Our room (2) had a four poster bed, sitting area, patio door leading to outside area and a large ensuite bath/shower. Tracey and Mike are very friendly and Tracey in particular gave us some good information on the local area. The breakfast was great and really sets you up for the day. I can honestly say we have not stayed in a better guesthouse than the Rosedene and at £65 a night it represents fantastic value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone considering a few days in this area.

We stayed at Rosedene on february for two nights. We live in Cyprus and visit Pembroke several time a year to see my husbands mother. This is the first time we have stayed here and it will not be the last. We were made very welcome. It was a very comfortable stay. The room was perfect, lovely and warm. The dining room was very pleasant and the breakfast could not have been better. Plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was well cooked with lovely welsh bacon. We will definaitly be staying here again.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay here, and despite it being 'off-season' the host Tracey was terrific and helpful. The room was imaculatey clean and the WC / Shower was a good size. The cooked breakfast was fresh and ample, plus there was a decent selection of buffet items to eat as well. I would recomend this B&B to couples and families exploring the Pembrokeshire area of Wales as this B&B has good access into Pembroke as well as Tenby plus surrounding beaches and villages.

Room Tip: Pay the extra £5 for the Larger room - it's worth it!

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely stay here. Better than some 5* hotels that we've stayed in! The rooms are immaculate, not a single trace of dirt or mess anywhere. Really warm and cosy, exactly what you would want form a B+B. The hosts couldn’t have been friendlier and offered us loads of advice on our trip. Breakfast was lovely, and even though we overslept once we were still given breakfast. We would whole heartedly recommend this B+B and would definitely come back ourselves.
