We booked this accommodation at the last minute (it was low season) and could not have been happier. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and Agnes was an amazing cook. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a room on the street side with a huge bay window which was perfect for filling up with cushions and watching the world go buy. Breakfasts were delicious with chocolate croissants, cheese, home made jams, salami etc...perfect start to the day to stroll around the town and enjoy the stunning views over the valley. Only regret was we didn't end of spending much time visiting the local "cavs". We did have dinner at the local restaurant 100 metres up the road which was delicious. Highly recommend this accommodation and we will hopefully be back one day.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view over the valley. I'm sure it would be amazing.

We stayed here just one night because our preferred hotel in the Jura was closed until the following day. It is a lovely house and very comfortable. We had booked in advance and been assured that an evening meal would be served. We were disappointed to be told at 6.45pm that because other guests were all eating out we could not have an evening meal but that we could eat in a nearby restaurant. At 7.15pm we were told that as the restaurant was unexpectedly closed we would be fed in the house after all. At 7.30pm we were invited to sit down for what was an excellent meal. We could only assume that our hosts had sacrificed the meal they had planned for themselves. It was fun meeting the other guests at breakfast.

Although in the end our booking was honoured, it seems wrong to me when hosts decide not to offer a meal when it has been booked and confirmed.

Would have loved to stay here but they were full. However the lady phoned another couple of establishments to find me somewhere else. I loved the hotel she found for us, though dear, but it was no match to Le Relais for atmosphere and location. Thank mon abbesse!

This exceptional B+B in a beautifully restored ancient house offers clean, well-appointed rooms. Comfortable bed. We felt the price was well-judged. The location is perfect.

What made this the high point of our Jura holiday, however, was the individuality and warmth of the welcome from our hosts, and the truly exceptional quality of the food both at breakfast and at the evening meal (recommended).

We very much hope to be able to return!

At the end of a long day driving, we spent the night at this beautiful Chambre d'hote. The welcome was warm, the rooms delightful and comfortable and the food magnificent. Breakfast in the garden was unforgettable.
