“Excellent base for family holidays around Glasgow”
Reviewed 1 week ago for a stay in May 2018

We (family with two children, 11 yrs. old) had a great 2-week stay. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is well maintained. Very good location (20 mins to Glasgow centre, 20 mins to Loch Lomond, Campsies are nice hills for short and longer walks right outside the door. All information how to use the house was easily available. We would return again.

“Wonderful cottage in a awesome county :-))”
Reviewed 10 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

The cottage was in a very nice urbanization overlooking the Highlands. Size and decor were for four people perfectly adequate. The cottage was very nicely decorated and for the daily needs everything was available. The location was excellent to start for the numerous activities in all directions.

“An excellent stay”
Reviewed 30 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The cottage is very conveniently located, about 25 minutes by driving to the north of Glasgow, and about 400 yards from a Co-op supermarket. You will find Campsie Glen and can see hills from the living room. Despite not being in an urban area, it also provides an opportunity for urbex - a derelict hospital (Lennox Castle) is nearby. The home owner is very kind and helpful. You will find this place an excellent place to start your exploration in Scotland.

The house is amazing. Big living room, great ktichen, 3 bedrooms and a dining room where you see the stars :) And a lot of great equipment are at disposal even toys and books for kids.
It is also a great place for tourism with a rented car we were able to easily visit Glasgow, Stirling, Edimburg, the Lock Lomon and some distillery.
The town is smal but with all you need, supermarket, bar and take away restaurant. The surrounding are also great for a walk and sightseeing.

“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 3 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Dingieshowe Cottage was our home away from home. Just what you want. Spotless, clean and had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. Our host Meg gave us a great welcome after such a long day of travelling. Lennoxtown the people very warm and friendly. Glazert Country House Hotel was a 2 minute walk from cottage, the food and staff were amazing. Definitely the place to visit. Local shops the people were friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery, lots of walking and if you are a hiker then this is the place to be. Bus stop across the main road. Bus takes you all the way into Glasgow. We will visit again!
