Had the best tuna and cheese panini I've had in a long time! My friend had the full English breakfast and was very impressed, especially with the locally sourced sausages. My 4 year old son enjoyed his cheese on toast, and there were many more items on the menu suitable for little ones. Loved the special touch of kids books for them to read while waiting for their food, anyone with kids will appreciate something to keep them occupied! The cakes looked absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to try one next time we visit.

Lovely Team running this Tea Shop - and a great Takeaway Coffee Selection for GBP2. Very Friendly. Local Papers to read whilst waiting. So much better than Costa Coffee that seem to have got everywhere now.

Was very impressed with our visit to Sweetapples. I was taken by my friend as a late birthday treat and had a very relaxing afternoon.
We created our own high tea, salmon and cheese and egg sandwiches. Followed by scones, jam and cream. (The plan was to share a piece if cake but we couldn't quite manage that). Fabulous food and lovely atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Marshfield is so tucked away we rarely visit it even though we live only 7 miles away. However, we were driving along the A420 this morning and wanted a snack so took the diversion through the village and found Sweetapples and it is a delightful and cosy café and yes, the Wednesday knitting group were there clicking away. The coffee was delicious and we ordered a sausage sandwich to share. The sandwich came on individual plates which was a nice touch and the tasty sausage had been made for them in a pattie shape (how sensible) so the usual problem of the slices of sausage falling out did not happen. We will certainly be back as the menu looks exciting and we noted that they serve a savoury cream tea with cheese scones and cream cheese and relevant accompaniments. Another great idea which we have not seen before. A very special, if small, place to eat.
