Visited today for Sunday Lunch. My husband's roast chicken was a bit disappointing with a small amount of chicken and lots of veg. All looked a bit re-heated and tired. Children's menu was the usual unimaginative sausage, fish fingers, chicken nuggets and chips, etc. Sausages were deep fried and chips tasted a bit old, but the biggest black mark was the waitress about to put scalding hot food in front of a little one. To be fair we've experienced this in other places not just here but it's total madness and dangerous and I believe catering training specifically warns against this? I'm so fed up of having to divert the plate away so it can cool down a bit before eager hands and mouths get burned.
