The wine tasting experience was an excellent one. The tasting room attendant is well informed - she is a qualified winemaker herself, friendly and efficient. At R28 for a tasting of 5 wines, it's highly affordable. (and she's not shy with the tastings!) The wine itself is very good. They have an extensive range with affordable easy drinking wine as well as more sophisticated expensive wines. Charcuterie, cheese and condiments are available at the tasting centre which also features a gift shop will locally made products.
The grounds itself is absolutely impressive, well kept and inviting. I have eaten at the Restaurant on a previous occasion and the food was also very good and well presented. They also offer picnics and braai baskets in summer (untill end of May I think) I do not know what the accommodation is like, other from what I've read on their website. The Mangwanani Spa is also a must do with spectacular views.
All in all the surroundings and nature of this place alone makes it worth a visit.
