Thank you to Eleftheria( her husband, Michael and her mother) for turning the Villa we hired for our Crete holiday into a boutique hotel!
We were treated to delicious meals, wine and fruit as well as constant attention to our needs which was on top of a very clean and well supplied , comfortable villa . The villa is well positioned for beaches and some Restaurants as well as being close to Kissamos, Chania and a short drive to the White Mountains and some bigger beaches.
We found our relaxation days very comfortable next to the lovely pool on a selection of loungers.
If finding the villa is difficult to locate just follow the signs for Leonidas restaurant and Apartments as the Villa is directly over the road from it .
Hope you have as relaxing and lovely holiday as we did !!
Our family spent the most amazingly perfect week at Villa Elvina!! There were 6 of us, my husband and I, our 2 sons, and their girlfriends. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures, plenty of space for all of us. It was spotless and had everything you need or want. Eleftheria, the owner, was a wonderful hostess. She checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. One of our son's got engaged while we were there and Eleftheria brought a cake and a bottle of champagne to celebrate! There are tavernas a couple of minutes away and we had quite a few dinners at the one recommended by her. We will definitely return to this amazing villa!! Just perfect!
Villa Elvina is a slice of paradise. The house is beautiful and immaculate -- every detail was thought of. We were given a warm welcome by Eleftheria, who made us feel right at home and offered amazing advice about the area, restaurants, beaches and necessities. The house she created feels like luxury spa, except you have it all to yourself. It is perfectly located near the best beaches, a town with everything you need, and Chania -- which is also great to visit. Much of what you need is already supplied in the villa -- including some wine. Can't wait to return.
Very nice Villa in quiet area. Our expectations have been exceeded in various belongings. Villa was very well equipped and there was more available then expected. The owner was very corteous to us and tried to fulfill all of our wishes. Pool top and enjoyed heated Jacuzzi as well. Kissamos town about 4 km west, where you can get stuff you need. Excellent bakery in 2 mins drive (Small Village behind "Hotel Eleftheria"). Don´t miss Falassarna Beach (20-25 mins drive) and Gramvousa Restaurant.
Our family of 4 visited Villa Elvina in Crete over the Easter break in April 2017. We loved the accomodations: large bright spaces both indoor and outdoors, all the amenities you need and above all super clean.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the owner Eleftheria and her mom who had prepared a lovely meal for us. What an unexpected treat! Eleftheria delivered top notch service during our stay and made wonderful recomendations for restaurants and places to visit. She has flawless taste and will make sure that your stay is comfortable.
In terms of location, the villa is conveniently located for visits to at least 3 Top listed beaches in Greece. Chania and Rethmyno are also easily accessible for day trips.
Our stay at Villa Elvina was a fantastic experience we will remember for a very long time.
We stayed at Vila elvina in the first week of June 2016 as a family of 7 adult with 2 small children. The Vila owner elaftheria was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure all our requests were accommodated. The facilities at the Vila exceeded our expectations, all the rooms were spacious and very well furnished. The outside space with its terraces, numerous balconies and swimming pools was a delightful place to enjoy Cretan sunshine and alfresco dining. In addition the Vila is located 50 meter from the lovely Platanias beach. The electric gate and large gardens ensured that you enjoyed complete privacy and all time. Possible one of the best Villas we have stayed in and we definitely be recommending it!
Me and my husband always wanted to visit Crete as my sister went there a few years back and she had a lovely time, but we were waiting for the kids to grow up a bit so they can come along in the flight with no drama. It took us a while to find a place to suit our needs in terms of space and location.
People in Crete are excellent, very friendly and helpful from the very first moment. Villa Elvina was in my opinion the best option around. The facilities are immaculate, loads of space for the kids to play inside and outside, but also a stylish and extremely spacious contemporary villa. It is remarkable how they mixed the modern with the most traditional local architectural style. You have the option to stay in and play in the swimming pools (yes, two of them) or if you decide to go to the seaside it is within walking distance. Food and in general all the local products are from another world, we couldn’t stop eating. Chania is also a lovely city, very vibrant and lively with numerous options for dinner or a relaxed drink somewhere quiet with the kids, we didn’t visit any nightclubs, those days are way gone !!!!. Prices are extremely down to earth for what you get in both terms of space and service. We met Eleftheria and Michael there, the lovely couple running the villa. They had arranged our transportation from the airports requested and as a lovely surprise a huge dinner was waiting for us upon arrival followed by a bottle of red wine from Michael’s personal collection, we were speechless .They both gave us the impression that it is their mission to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Very attentive and friendly ,our kids still talking about both of them using their first names. I actually feel that I can keep going on and on and for that reason I will stop here.I honestly took my time with my husband to find something negative or maybe not so good if you wish but there is nothing there. I wish we get the opportunity to visit again.
I really hope you find this helpful .
