I have been here 3 times now-twice for dinner and once for lunch. I possibly wouldn't think so much of this restaurant if it wasn't for the sticky ribs-they are completely to die for and come in main and entree size with a mini corn on the cob and beetroot puree. I took my parents and we took 2 of our own bottles of wine at $4 per head corkage. Was impressed that they kept our second bottle of white chilled while we drank the first bottle and got fresh glasses etc. Didn't feel ripped off in paying the corkage as the service was excellent

The staff were nice. The food was good in a very home-cooked way. Hearty, fresh and relatively tasty, but not definitely fancy or chic like the prices would indicate. Almost a $100 later after one entrée, two mains and one shared dessert (it is BYO) and you have that 'I just got ripped-off by a Perth restaurant again' feeling. Nice décor, but the tables (at least out table) seemed to be awkwardly packed together. Will we be back... No.

Lunch on a Friday was tough to choose as the menu was boring (steak sandwich, chicken burger, BLT). Eventually settled on soup of the day (Potato, leek and bacon) which arrived looking more like stew than soup and tasted Bland (yes Bland with a capital B). Very dissapointed as we went here on a recommendation. The waitress was snooty and treated us as though we should be honoured to be in her presence.
Lift your game as you have a terrific location and the decor is quirky but nice.
