“Great Massage and Salt Rub !”

These two treatments are the perfect combination. The numbers are restricted in using the facility so you enjoy tranquility and relaxation. We enjoyed the outside Spa baths and the Romany Sauna in the Caravan. A lovely relaxing treat.

“A relaxing afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2013 via mobile

I visited The Garage Spa with two friends and we each paid £39.50 for full use of the facilities from 1-5pm, followed by afternoon tea.
We arrived and were shown to a pleasant seating area and given a medical history form to fill in. Then we were shown to our lockers and the individual changing rooms. The lockers were spacious and the individual changing rooms were lovely. Each had a small changing bench, shower, toilet and sink with great smelling products to use. We put on our robes and flip flops that we found in our lockers and were then given a tour of the facilities.
We were then free to enjoy ourselves. We went into the Salt Room first, this was a room with 4 chairs in and a relaxing atmosphere. We could actually taste salt in the air which was a little strange but we enjoyed it. Then we went into the indoor giant hot tub and this was very relaxing with great bubbles! There were two smaller hot tubs that were cooler but we did not try these. Next up was the Steam Room. It was lovely and relaxing and as expected it got very warm very quickly! The steam seemed to be infused with eucalyptus and this was great for clearing our airways. We then went into the outdoor area and into the sauna. It had a wood burning stove and again was very relaxing. We wanted to try the outdoor hot tub but unfortunately it was always occupied when we tried to get in.
After getting changed we went back into the nice seating area for the afternoon tea. We each got 3 sandwiches: cucumber, salmon and ham. They were delicious! Then we had a large scone each with butter and jam which was divine. Finally we had 5 desserts each! These were a chocolate fudge cake, banana cake, mince pie, macaroon and a strawberry mousse dessert. They were all just delicious!
Overall we had a lovely afternoon and we will definitely be back! Next time we may try some treatments if there are offers on as they were quite pricey.

“No complaints”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

Myself and my boyfriend spent the day here, we purchased a voucher through red letter days.
We received a rasul mud treatment and use of the facilities.

As it was a Monday the place was very quiet, there was only 2 other people which we only saw once.
If it was busy I can see it being a little hectic as this is only a small spa.

Staff seemed friendly enough and polite.

Only complaint was the water and the ice tea. If you like cucumber flavoured water then your fine, if not you'll have to get your purse out and purchase something else to drink.

“Spa day”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 November 2013

This is my third vist to this spa and have to say I will not be going back we booked in as a party of eight for a friends birthday and for such a small spa I thought they would not be many other people in the spa but it ranged from fourteen to twenty people in and as the salt room only has four chairs we where waiting around the hot tub as can only fit four people in,it is a small spa and the staff where not as helpful as they had been the last two visits also when we had finished in spa after queuing for the showers they even charged us three pound for a latte which was free the other two times, only person I can say is still the same is simon who you can see takes pride in his job.
