This is truly a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days while visiting the Loire chateaux. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. This is true farmhouse with horses, cows, chickens, dogs and cats.
What makes a huge difference with other bed-and-breakfast places is a genuine hospitality of Monique and Jean-Claude, the owners. Their warmth, knowledge of the area and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty made our visit great.
I really don't know how to describe the absolute joy of seeing incredibly beautiful horses as we turned in, followed by the greeting of two bouncing, smiling dogs and a couple of love bug cats. To say it was balm to a tired and toasted soul would be an understatement.
The owners of this bed and breakfast are some of the most wonderful, engaging and welcoming humans I've come across (that's saying a lot). The accomodations are welcoming and INCREDIBLY comfortable---breakfast is the perfect combination of croissants, bread, coffee (or tea or...), jams, honey, jelllys, juices...the morning greeting of the hostess and host will make your morning! This couple is genuinely happy to meet and have people in their home. Might you be missing (or longing for) the quiet of a beautiful night? The softness of a breeze filled with the scents of grass, clean air, the sweetness of newly blooming flowers and the simple joy of knowing you will awake to dogs, cats and horses, happy to see you? THIS IS IT. HEAVEN in the French country side.
This is one of the most wonderful, beautiful places I've stayed. Surrounded by trails, chateaus and villages filled with good restaurants and sights to see---you couldn't do any better.
