Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: Bressingham is a Charitable Trust preserving Steam Transport of all kinds in a Garden Setting which the whole family can enjoy. The aim of the trust is to provide moving steam powered exhibits full of life rather than a purely static display, so expect some smoke, soot, oil, and working exhibits you can get close too rather than a roped off lifeless collection. The majority of staff have always been volunteers, who graciously give their time for others to enjoy the collection of steam artefacts given by Alan Bloom to the trust.

We visited on a weekday while on holiday on Norfolk. We brought tickets which gave us unlimited rides as we planned to stay the day. When we arrived we found that only one ride was open... we was looking forward to going on the retro rides. Please check before you go here.... not everything is always open but they will still happily sell you the full tickets

A good day out with 2 different train rides and a ride on the gallopers. Have a wander around Walmington on Sea and dads army memorabilia. A walk around the garden to stretch your legs and a good diner in the cafe. A few old trains both inside and out to see
Overall well worth a visit for all ages.

A good day out with an opportunity to ride on at least two steam railways and some days a full scale main line locomotive.
The museum has a working Gallopers horse carousel as well as engine sheds and old vehicle museum and shop to look around.
Adjacent is a large garden centre
BRESSINGHAM Hall has large gardens accessible which are nice to walk around on a sunny day

Spent a sunny October day at Bressingham which was an experience day present. Plenty to see and do if you like steam trains (which I do) and/or Dad's Army (which I do). Nice little cafe but the shop was a bit to child orientated with nothing really for adults.

Not a very busy October weekend, so no question for the trains or carousel. Had a steam train voucher, if you're going with young kids then this seems like the best place to use it.

A great new play area, good range of food (although cage could do with being bigger), fast carousel and other old rides and a three trains and lovely gardens. And a museum and indoor play room - so a good day out for toddlers!
