Visited with friends for the Wild West Weekend.
There was very little Wild West about it! Perhaps a little bit of American bourbon, a few odd cocktails and a buckaroo. However.
Rooms were pleasant and clean.
Food was good value, pleasant and plentiful and I would recommend the Ploughman's for healthy but hungry travellers!
Lovely range of cask ales on tap. Helpful and friendly staff who coped very well with the crowds of hungry and thirsty revellers.
All this comes with favourable prices and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

My family and I have stopped here overnight countless times on the way to and from places. I have many fond memories of Guys Thatched Hamlet and have always loved going there! I always get a good nights sleep because I am a deep sleeper myself but those light sleepers might find it a little difficult as it gets a little noisy at night.
The meals are AMAZING, I highly recommend their restaurant!

It may have the one little issue but overall its a nice, cosy place to stay for a couple of nights!

Stayed here for four nights in this quirky but thoroughly delightful hotel the rooms are situated in blocks of thatched cottages by the canal . Either overlooking gardens or the canal. Really interesting location suitable for both an overnight or longer stays. Rooms well appointed with one of the most comfortable super kingsize beds we have slept in a hotel, The food in the italian restaurant is excellent with a wonderful selection and a daily changing specials menu offering wonderful seafood . Staff are friendly and efficient.Breakfast excellent using high quality produce. Will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in all of the different types of room but definitely think it's work paying extra for the deluxe executive room with en suite bathroom, large spa bath and TV, bed was very comfy and room nice and clean, really enjoyed our dinner and evening meals in both owed nells tavern and the restaurant but been disappointed with the breakfast each time, buffet style served on a small dresser, not topped up regularly, nearly broke a tooth on the black pudding we now go to Barton grange for a lovely breakfast if we stay here

Room Tip: Worth getting the deluxe executive room but think there is only seven of them so best to book early especially if there is an event on
