“Friendly Welcome Comfortable Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2009

Arrived fairly late in the evening and received a warm welcome and most professional service.

The decor and layout of the hotel is like all the others in the chain. However the cleanliness of the place was noticeable.

The food in the nearby pub was very good, and the breakfast fit for a king.

There are a number of very nice chain hotels and private hotels that you pass coming to this hotel; but this one is worth the stay.

Have just stayed at the North Premier Inn on Easter Sunday. Perfect location with three pubs right outside the door serving great food. Lovely setting with the canal right outside. Staff were very welcoming, even giving the kids easter eggs. Peaceful nights sleep in comfortable beds. Great breakfast next morning. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed for one night a couple of weeks ago - a last minute booking on our way back from Scotland. Typical Premier Inn but very clean and we had a HUGE bed! Nice pub next door with good pub food, but it did get very, very busy so I would try and book next time. Slept very well and no room noise, even though we were by a busy road. Would recommend and stay again.

Booked this premier inn after reading comments on trip advisor.
I have stayed at other hotels in this group and I found this hotel to be below their average.
I have always found premier inn hotels to be very clean establishments but this room fell far below the usual standard.
The hotel staff were very nice and the nearby pub where you can purchase food was also accommodating.
I felt concerned that the hotel did not use the usual card entry system to gain access to the hotel, or to the rooms themselves. Instead we were provided with room keys and each room had a securtiy chain fitted to the inside of the door which made me question WHY?! The Receptionist commented that it was just because they were 'behind the times' but I did wonder if security is an issue there.
Overall I felt that this establishment was tired and in need of some TLC - perhaps it will be a good choice in the future but for now I would select another in the Premier Group.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Preston North Premier Lodge this weekend and we were very impressed with the place. Very simple, VERY CLEAN, very friendly. For a short stay it was great. My boyfriend even commented how comfy the bed was (praise indeed!). Lovely team on hand to help with all enquiries. The hotel isn't very big but it is next to a lovely carvery style pub called The Roebuck which serves a nice meal with a smile. I would recommend this hotel and carvery to anyone without question.

Good value for money, clean, friendly and a very pleasant location. 'Chef and Brewer' pub just the same as others and yet this one is somehow better. Recommended

I stayed 04/01/2007 for one night.
I had been travelling since early morning , to take care of business in the Poulton Le Fylde area and was glad to arrive finally , at the hotel . Check-in was friendly and very helpful . I ate in the pub adjacent to the hotel . The menu was reasonably extensive and well priced.
The hotel room was warm and comfortable , spotlessly clean , plus points for the housekeeping staff , I think. I had a hot bath and got a good night's sleep , awakening refreshed and ready for the return home. Check-out was just as friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers to the Preston or Blackpool areas. It is close to both Preston & Blackpool but sufficiently distant as to make it a quiet , peaceful stay.
Why not give it a try ?

Mr. H.M. Dick

  • Liked — Friendliness & cleanliness
