Nice, clean, modern hotel only 20 minutes from LGW. We recently stayed at the Tudor Park Marriott Country Club which was not a patch on this. Given a room with a view of the racecourse and it was amazing especially with the sun shining.

Big thank you to Donna on reception - greatest us as though she knew us, happy, very helpful, upgraded us and always such a big smile. A credit to Marriott.

Only complaint is around the poor breakfast service - no clean tables to sit at, everything used and not replenished and generally pretty poor. This may have been a one off as reception said some members of staff had gone sick that morning.

Went there in the beginng of May with friends and the day we arrived in UK it was raining for all the money. But as soon as we arrived in Lingfield the Sun came to warm us up and did not leave us again.
We had to change our room and got a suite with one bed (two friends hahah) and it did not bother us at all. It was a very good room. Good bed :)
Wonderful golf course and a very nice dressing room and a storage for the golf clubs.
The staff at the hotel was very nice and fixed our little problem fast. The staff at the Golf course was helpful and did all they could. Had some problems with trolleys (could have added 20 trolleys)
Sauna, swimming pool etc. all very nice, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast very good and dinner was getting better and better.
I would go there again.

Spent 2 nights on dinner, breakfast, bed and 3 rounds of golf. Room on corner of hotel overlooking golf course and finishing straight of racecourse. Food was fine although with Fosters costing over £4 a pint, beer is expensive.

Room Tip: Ask to overlook racecourse

Our golf society stayed at the Lingfield Park Marriott from May 20th thru 25th. This is a new property, located on the grounds of the famous horseracing track. They have a nice golf course on the property with several practice putting greens, a full size driving range and short game area. I used the spa and swimming pool area; it was extremely well run and I especially enjoyed the steam bath and ice plunge area. We had a few problems checking in, but managed to work through that by being patient with the staff and working with them. The checkout went more smoothly; due to the excellent service provided by Kiara Jiivrani. She is well trained, professional and an asset to the hotel. That said, the botched check-in is still causing me problems with VISA and Marriott Customer Service (I'm hoping we get the disputed charges handled soon). The breakfast was great and the staff at breakfast was especially customer responsive. A special cudo to Ray; he greeted and seated me each morning and kept our group together. The one dinner we had was very good; maybe a little pricey, but the hot food was served hot and the cold food was served cold. Pretty good wine list and we enjoyed a French red and some Italian white. The bar area is very well stocked and has good snacks. My only complaint was that during busy times; they appeared to be understaffed. I can't blame the staff for that and they were working as fast as possible. There is a very nice sitting area outside the bar (patio) that looks over the racetrack and the downs. Our rooms were very nice; mine had a balcony that you could walk out on and it looked out over the racetrack and the village in the distance. It was nice to be able to open the sliding glass door to the balcony each night and let in the fresh air. The bathroom was very nice, but smallish for two grown men. The room was serviced each day and was always very clean. I would return to this lovely Marriott in the countryside outside London. The local train station had access to Victoria Station in London and the trains ran frequently. We played golf at Walton Heath, The Addington, Hever Castle and Royal Ashdown Forest.

I recently spend a few nights at the Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel which is adjacent to the historic Lingfied Park Racetrack. The hotel itself is nothing to look at, but it occupies quite an outstanding location. Not far from Gatwick, the hotel is in a beautiful country environment with plenty of open space and grass around the property. I found it a very relaxing location from which to conduct business. The service was better than average as was the food. All in all, a nice place to spend a few days.

We went to this hotel for lunch the other week . The restaurant overlooks the lingfield racing course and also to your left the golf course. The service was very good and we did not have to wait long to be served. The meal was lovely we had thai green curry with rice and nann breads. For desert we had chocolate brownie with ice cream and assorted ice creams. Would definitely recommend this restaurant again very enjoyable.

I took my Mother yesterday for a 'special promotion' spa day which included use of spa facilities & two 25 minute treatments followed by a glass of bubbly each. I have to say how impressed I was with the cleanliness of the 'wet' areas and the skill of the two therapists. We were lucky enough to go on a race day too, so enjoyed our glass of bubbly watching them race in the rain whilst we were in the bar!!! It was a midweek day and therefore quite quiet which made it an even more pleasurable experience.
