We stayed the night here after a day at the horse racing.
The room was really lovely, only positives here. We booked
with Booking.com - no problems.

Unfortunately, we now come to the negatives.
We arrived in good time for 2.10 first race, but
went round and round the hotel car park trying
to find a vacant space. We watched many people
park in the hotel car park and take the quick
walk to the race course. Although we were guests
at the hotel, we had to join the cars parked along
the road along walk to the hotel. After the races
we could easily find a place in the hotel car park
so obviously those people were not hotel guests.
The hotel Management needs to sort this out.

Whilst waiting for our 8pm booking in the hotel
restaurant we tried to get a seat or even a bar stool
in the bar. This was impossible before and after our
restaurant meal. They need to get rid of the many
over sized settees and replace them with tables and
chairs. However, the good service and friendliness
from all staff in the reception, bar and restaurant
as brilliant.

We are back again on 22nd February and hope
to see improvements in the car parking and
bar seating but I won't hold my breath!!

Room Tip: Book with Booking.com and pay a little more for a better room than standard

Stayed here after racing on the 27th . Perfect for racegoers as right next to the track.
Reception on booking in perfect, seen by blonde girl (didn't get her name) absolute credit to the hotel , pleasant smiling and polite . Hotel spotlessly clean, room ideal 2 large double beds . Price of drinks at bar quite dear, wouldn't want to spend to an evening in there .
After a perfect nights sleep breakfast int he morning was OK , buffet style so most of it just warm. Overall would definitely stay here again .

Room Tip: had room 302 -no balcony

We stayed one night here and arrived on the Thursday morning, had lunch then played 18 holes of golf. The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. lunch was ok very typical Marriott food.

We had an evening meal which was good not cheap though.

Would definitely use this hotel again.

We stayed here as we attended a wedding. The actual room was sapxious and we had a cracking room with great view of the racecourse.

However, we encountered some problems. The heating did not work in the room. When I I informed reception, they said I would have to wait until maintainece turned up. We had a 5 month old baby with us and did not get another room offered or at least a portable heater.
Bit disappointing

I wouldn't put anyone off from staying here, as the room was spacious and the buffet breakfast was adequate, however customer satisfaction needs to be worked on

My stay at Lingfield park hotel was comfortable , relaxing and overall just a great place to stay. The spa facilities including a gym and a swimming pool , which was very nice and clean , were great. The breakfast was excellent with a range from smoked fish to a full English with pastries and muffins on the side. The staff were also very helpful and enthusiastic and the rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and a lovely view out on the balcony . Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend stay and I myself will most certainly be going back.
