Emerald may not be the easiest golf course to find, but it is well worth the eeofrt. You have to pass through Ban Chang and the golf course is on the left up into the foothills.
It may not have the usual water hazards, but it's still a difficult course for beginners and intermediarte players. However, most golfers fall in love with it after a few rounds of golf!
This Nick Faldo course has changed little since it was built and the open-plan clubhouse is simple but good. There is a small pro shop to pay golf fees, excellent changing facilities and a loungebar restaurant open to the elements.! The staff are friendly and the caddies a delight!
The first hole seems simple, but the course then becomes increasignle difficult and steeper to play. Anyone with difficulty walking will need an electric cart here!
If you can play to par on this course, you are really playing well and the course hosts a number of charity events throughout the year!
