We enjoyed our stay here very much. Annabel is an excellent host and makes superb chocolate cake desserts. We also would recommend the crepes with banana and chocolate sauce for breakfast, very yummie!

We had two big rooms in one old building, downstair and upstair. it is traditional Thailand style architecture. Swing pool and swing besides the pool are very comfortable, you can spend all day there. Annabel and her stuffs offered the best foods and service to us. We just stayed like at own house, my kids had a great fun with her friendly dogs and kitties. Wish We could be back someday, for it is really a place to capture your dream!

Annabel runs ths beautiful place in efficient and friendly way. Everythings works, requests are taken care of right away, all necessary info is provided. Rooms are big and lovingly furbished, all amenities are present, breakfasts are nice, pool is great and sourroundig is garden really beautiful. But for us this small paradise was just too remote from the city, taxis were quite costly and you really needed to pre-arrange your return to be able to get home stress free. The drive did take between 25-40 min depending on traffic.

Dreamcatchers was a terrific property for us having just come from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The property is lovely, styled in the old teak, Thai fashion. Our favorite part of the property is the pool with its elephant relief waterfall. There is nothing better than returning from an outing to a dip in the pool on a humid day.

Two other aspects of our visit deserve particular comment. First, the food was excellent. Despite being a bit out of town with a corresponding opportunity to charge high prices, Annabel charges very reasonable prices for very good Thai or Western food. We particularly recommend the pasta carbonara for those seeking variety.

The other element on which I would comment is Annabel's strength in recommending vendors for activities. Without fail, she recommended vendors that met our desires. From elephant safaris to in-house massages, her ability to match our wants with the right vendor was spot on.

Thanks for a great stay!

Staying at Dreamcatchers was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip. The space is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. Though only a few minutes outside of town, it still feels like this incredible and secluded retreat. In terms of the actual atmosphere and environment, the pictures (though beautiful) don't really do it justice. Not only are the rooms gorgeous, but the peace and quiet of the area was breathtaking. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, on the porch, or even just taking a walk down the road- it was all such an experience. Annabel is extremely accommodating and pointed us in all the right directions for what we wanted to do activity wise, even making our reservations for us at the Elephant Nature Park. The home-cooked meals were some of the best we had (especially the omelets!), and the atmosphere of the outdoor dining was hard to beat. The menu has several different options (all delicious) for each day of the week, but the variety of choices is great. I was traveling with two girlfriends of mine, one of whom preferred more "western" food choices so she was thrilled about the variety that Annabel offered. I would absolutely recommend it to any traveler looking for a relaxing stay, and we're already planning to return next Spring!

If you are going to Chiang Mai--especially from Bangkok-- and are weary of all the crowds and noise, you should book a room at Dreamcatchers. As a tourist in Thailand, the look of old style Thai design and teak wood in hotels and buildings is desirable, but not found very often. Instead, Thailand has, to a large extent, adopted the boring, Western style architecture. However, I do appreciate having Western standards inside--especially the toilets! At Dreamcatchers, you can step back in time as you explore this gorgeous resort. Beautiful design outside and inside with all he modern comforts you want. It's a little way outside the town, but Annabel, and her hand picked taxi drivers, made it easy and quick to get there and back.

My daughter and I stayed in the blue room which was very large and beautifully decorated. Full length, screened and wood shuttered windows opened to a view of the canal and patio with chairs. The air conditioner worked fast and there was a small refrigerator with assorted drinks and snacks right in the room. Very convenient. Laundry services were fast and inexpensive. The pool is big and relaxing and has a nice elephant water feature--look at the pictures.

Breakfast was delicious. As stated in other reviews, the omelette and crepes were yummy! Annabel, the host, was wonderful as was her staff. She even got me some Coke Zero when she went to the market and placed it in our frig. You could also have an evening meal and homemade cake too!

We went to the elephant farm Annabel suggested and it was everything we hoped it would be. On Annabel's suggestion, we per-arranged for two masseuses to be at the house right after our time with the elephants. Boy, was that a good suggestion! We had just enough energy remaining to enjoy a delicious dinner of Pad Thai before turning in.

The road to the hotel is lined with gorgeous mansions and temples. I wish we had had more time to walk around.

Dreamcatchers will be remembered as one of our favorite places to stay!

This is our third time in 3 years staying at Dreamcatchers with Annabel. It's like returning home each time and we love the feeling. Annabel and her staff makes our stay unforgettable and without any troubles. We always like to receive Annabel's recommendations on what to do and try in Chiang Mai. We never had any bad experiences with any of her recommandations and always came back with very good memories. We truly felt that what she suggested was meant for us each time. If you need anything or want to experience something special, Annabel will find it and arrange it for you.
Everything is perfect for us there ! The atmosphere is nice, being close to the nature, out of the hustle and bustle of the city is just perfect and anyways we don't really go to the city since we like to eat at the B&B (the food is delicious) and when we do activities, the companies or the taxi comes to pick us up at the B&B.
Thanks once again for everything and make our trip to Chiang Mai unforgettable and keep up the good work !!!
