We had a one night getaway with 4 moms & 4 8th grade daughters. Annabel took great care to help us to have a fabulous time. The rooms are gorgeous and roomy, and the attention to detail is fabulous. We live in Chiang Mai, and will continue to look for opportunities to visit Annabel and her team.

Dreamcatchers B&B is by far one of the most outstanding places we have stayed in.
The Lanna-style houses are spacious and beautifully decorated. You are made to feel very welcome and the balance between privacy and being catered for is exactly right. If you have any questions or requests (e.g. organising an elephant tour, massages, laundry etc.) you can speak to the owners at any time and you can be sure it will be taken care of immediately.
The B&B is about 11 km away from the city centre which means it is quiet and relaxing. However, it is no problem taking trips to the centre and elsewhere as there are taxis cooperating with the B&B. There is a very reasonable fixed price and all taxi drivers can speak some English. Only if you want paint the town red every night this may not be the most comfortable arrangement for you.
Breakfast is excellent as you are served fresh local fruit, a special of the day (e.g. crepes, omelette, waffles, eggs to your liking etc.), home-made yoghurt, fresh bread and more.
The pool is beautiful with sun-loungers, hammocks, a pretty water feature and plants and flowers around it.
We would recommend Dreamcatchers to couples who like to stay in Chiang-Mai but still want to have some peace and quiet or families.
We can honestly say that if we come back to Chiang-Mai we would always stay there again.

We stayed at Dreamcatchers for three nights during our trip around Thailand. After the business and heat of Bangkok, Chiang Mai was nice for us. The accommodation feels more like a home than a hotel. It was quite like visiting a friend or family member. On our first day we arrived at lunch time and tried some of the fabulous Thai food cooked by Khun Ben (one of Annabel's staff). Annabel recommended that we visit the night market on our first evening, which we did and really enjoyed. The pool area was a lovely place to sit and relax. During the evenings when we stayed in, we spent time talking with Annabel and other guests who were very friendly. The accommodation is about 20 minutes drive out of town, but Annabel provides a list of contact telephone numbers of taxi drivers who know where the accommodation is. Annabel is also very helpful at communicating to drivers when they pick you up or drop off at the bed and breakfast. The breakfasts themselves were very nice and Annabel was very accommodating, asking what type of cooked breakfast you would like the following morning. We booked the junior suite with jacuzzi which was very spacious and well furnished. Overall, it was a very comfortable, friendly and relaxed stay in nice surroundings. It was one of our favourite places to stay in Thailand during our holiday.

We will never forget Annabelle and her lovely daughter Samantha! They made us feel very at home in there charming villa. Always willing to help and advise where to go. To discover Chang Mai they we could take their map for a while and when we needed something, they managed it!
The breakfast with the home made muesli and yogurt where so tastfull as well as the dinners they prepared for us.
Now at home, listening to Jesse Cook, (wich they played during breakfast) we dream away thinking of the lovely time at Dreamcatchers!!

We stayed here for about 3 weeks. The location is perfect, just outside of the city and in a typical Thai village so you can experience Thai culture and life style. Transportation to the city is easy to arrange and inexpensive.
There is a full menu including lunch and dinner with Thai and Western food.Rooms are comfortable and there is a large size pool.
A wonderful place, very relaxed atmosphere

After years of travelling through various Asian countries, I didn't think we would ever find such a lovely secluded, quiet, homely and welcoming place to stay.
Give Annabelle a couple of hours notice and she would produce some fantastic food.
In fact the food was so good that it was hard to justify going anywhere else to eat.
Thank you Annabelle and staff.

My partner and I and her son spent 5 days here at the end of June 2010. Dreamcatchers is way beyond any B&B that we have ever stayed in. In fact, it is way beyond any of the resorts that we stayed in (Check out the pictures!) . Just to mention a few things – and keep in mind that this is all for guests in only 4 rooms!
1. Annabel, who owns and runs Dreamcatchers and is both the ultimate pro and soon, a friend to everyone who stays. Annabel made sure that we had everything that we needed, provided a fabulous breakfast every morning, and gave us all the help we could ever need in enjoying the city. And went above and beyond anything we could have expected. When one of our group needed to see a doctor, she drove us into the city, sat with us for 2 hours till we were able to see the doctor, took us to lunch and drove us back.
2. Dreamcatchers is like an oasis away from all the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mei. Quiet and very peaceful.

3. The 4 rooms are detached from the main house and feel very provide. Rooms were very spacious, clean, comfortable, more than sufficient air conditioning. The room that we had overlooked the river.
4. The main house had a large common area where we could sit, watch TV, read books, enjoy the company.
5. There are several other staff who clean the rooms daily and make all the meals. You can actually order dinner from a menu.

6. There is a very large pool, as nice as you might see at a resort. We were tempted to give up our planned sight seeing and just hang out by the pool!

As others have noted, Dreamcatchers is a 15 – 20 minute ride to the night market and other Chiang Mei attractions. (200 baht – about $6). Annabel makes taxis appear within minutes after we ask for them. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Thailand. This was such a magical week for us!
