The rooms, common facilites, pool are all very comfortable and stylish -- the hidden benefit is in the friendly and knowledgeable (and charmingly eccentric) owner who can tell you what to do/where to buy/what to pay etc as well as cook a mean breakfast. Its a fair way out of town so the quiteness (and value for money) does come at the price of a taxi ride.

We travelled in a Group of Friends, mainly Golfers And we had almost the Whole Place for us.
The guesthouse is in a very nice neighbourghood in the south outskirts of Chiang Mai.
The property is very well mantained And has a Beautiful Pool. We had many rounds of Drinks in the evening to Relax.

The breakfast was really good, fresh Grumts, Home made Joghurts, fresh pancakes And a delicious Omelette with mushrooms And tomatoes.

Annabel was a Great help finding us a Travel Agent that organised us golf, Transfers, excursions,... All at a Great Price And Perfect Organisation (Even though our plans changed very Often).

The only "negative" Point, is that it is Not located centrally, but certainly offers more relax!

We had a Great Time in our 12 days at dreamcatcher's And the Time Flew by!

We spent 4 great days in Dreamcatchers B&B.
This small guest house is located in the countryside, in a nice neighborhood, far from noises and lights. Only birds will wake you up in the morning. The whole place is nice and tastefully decorated. The kids ( 8,10 and 12 years) really felt at home, as well as we, parents. Chang Mai is the perfect place to have great outside activities ( from tigers to elephants, waterfalls to cycling, ...) after busy Bangkok; Therefore, it was not a problem at all for us to be located 20min from downtown Chang Mai. Annabel was wonderful at suggesting activities with respect to our tastes, and just organized everything for us : from taxis, to booking bicycles, full elephant mahout day, tiger kingdom, ....
She adjusts everything to your wishes ( breakfast timings and menu, massage lady at the swimming pool side, ...) . For us, she prepared a great christmas eve dinner.
We loved this place, and would definitely recommand it to our best friends.

Dreamcatcher's B&B was a wonderful place to stay. My friend and I decided to stay here on the last leg of trip before heading back to the states in order to decompress. The atmosphere created by Annabel was warm and peaceful. I can't say that I felt more comfortable anywhere else during my 3 weeks traveling then here. Annabel was very helpful in telling us about the best places to visit or eat , setting up our tours, and making sure our taxi's took us to the proper places. I loved everything from the home cooked meals (everything is made from scratch) to the beautiful pool side hammock. I definitely recommend this place to anyone if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed 4 nights in December. We were 2 families with 2 adults and 2 children each. We had originally booked a vacation rental home but as luck would have it, heavy rains damaged it. After reviewing the many reviews on tripadvisor, we decided that on dremcatchers given the many positive reviews and appropriate rooming. The proprietress, Annabel, owns a beautiful property with 3 villas housed in close proximity to one another with 4 rooms with private entrances for rent. We took 2 rooms on the ground floor and Annabel kindly provided additional beds for our children in each room. There are certainly too few conventional hotels that provide beddings for families with young children who want to sleep together.

The rooms were amazing, with a different theme in each one. They were large enough for both beds and the bath and toilets were large and so very useful for us to strew our stuff around. On the grounds was a pool with an area with a hammock, comfy chairs and magazines where our kids had much fun. Also on the ground floor was the very large living area area with sofas and tv, 3 dining tables and the buffet breakfast table. This is where we had our excellent breakfast and a couple of our dinners. The 2nd floor contains Annabel's room and another 2 rooms which are accesses by a set of stairs and connected by walkways to one another. Annabel is ably assisted by a Thai lady and a man and there are 2 cats and 3 dogs on the premises. The location of Dreamcatchers is in the suburbs and is a little distance from town but not too far. The only problem is that the songteow and taxi drivers are not very familiar with the location and routinely get lost trying to find the place. This is easily solved if u lock the location on your phone gps (if u have it) or use the drivers Annabel uses ( she can give u their numbers and u can ring them). All in all not a problem.

Annabel arranged a private tour for us with a local tour agency and it was wonderful. We could customize our itinerary based on the many brochures that she had and we essentially had the driver for the whole day. We visited an elephant farm which had a show, hour rss on elephants, ox cart ride and bamboo raft ride. This took up most of the day which stated from 8am and included lunch. We then went to the tiger kingdom where we could lie on and touch real tigers. Wonderful experience. The other days we spent exploring the towns, night markets and the surrounds by songteow which fits all o us very nicely. It is roughly about B200 one way to or from town. Not too bad.

There is free broadband in Dreamcatchers and wifi coverage is not bad. Laundry is available as well. Breakfast consists of a buffet table with fresh fruits, cornflakes, milk, juices, selection of breads. Also, annabel will make u a wonderful omelette or a daily special like pancakes. Lunch and dinner is available if you feel like spending a day in. We had 2 dinners there and it was so good. It worked out so well for us because our kids could run around and the food is freshly cooked, timed to be ready only when we were ready to eat. We also utilized the masseuse recommended by annabel who will come to Dreamcatchers and perform he massages in room. Very convenient and they were very good. We would know cause we went for one in town and then another 2 in dreamcatchers. What a difference. Highly recommended. Also, transfers can be arranged and we had a smooth transit to the airport.

Overall, very kid and family friendly. Annabel is so accommodating and provides so much advice and service which really helped us as first timers in chiang mai. I personally looked forward to returning back to dreamctachers after a day out in town while I was there. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again in tue near future!

We stayed here based on positive reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. Annabel helped us plan our days, adjusted breakfast times to suit our schedule, and had a delicious send off dinner before a late evening flight back to Bangkok. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was comfortable for us and our two children. The only thing I would caution and I am sure I read it before but now having been there I understand more fully is that you are a good twenty minutes outside of town by taxi. For us this was not an issue and we spent a lazy day comfortably at the house poolside. If you want to walk out the door and be in the thick of things this isn't the place for you. But if you want to feel like you have gotten outside of the city and don't mind making excursions into town this is a wonderful place to be. I would stay here again and hope to some day.

We stayed at Dreamcatchers over Christmas - and had one of our best family vacations in Thailand ever. Annabel's attention to detail was wonderful - from homebaked Christmas cookies, to a wonderful Christmas meal, and more. This is a beautiful B & B, and we really enjoyed our stay, We have two small kids (ages 3 and 7) and they were very comfortable here too. One of the best things about staying here was Annabel's spot on recommendations for what to do - from a kid-friendly biking tour, to a visit to an amazing limestone waterfall, and even a restaurant recommendation enroute to the airport.
