“Great times in Paradise”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

I recently had the opportunity to spend a week at Bird's paradise extreme resort. It was an amazing funfilled experience that I totally recommend !

Graeme and Bird are amazing hosts and operate a great facility with commendable professionalism and super chilled atmosphere.

Skydiving was the reason that took me there and I did 17 jumps from 12000 feet (4000m plus) they operate two airplanes a cessna and brand new fully skydive equipped Airvan.
The accomodation is fantastic and the resort is fully equipped with loads of fun things to do ... Tandem skydiving, skydiving course and fun jumping with friends, Quads, climbing wall, zip lines, jet skis, scenic flights, bicycles, kneeboards , paddle boards , BB guns etc etc...

Plan on spending at least 3 days out there as theres lots to do and after a fun day, chill out at the DZ restaurant bar and be mesmerised by the spectacle that are sunsets out there .

Amazing place PARADISE indeed !

“Perfect place to get your USPA A licence and more++++!”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

With a previous AFF course done in Spain some time ago I wanted to get back into skydiving and obtain my USPA A license. Having made some email inquires to Dropzones both in Uk and Spain I found their slow, lack of information very off putting. One didn't even reply! Having made one email inquiry to Graeme at Birds Paradise outlining my A licence goal I received a quick reply full of clear cut information. I made my way to Thailand and true to his word and along with his calm personal coaching technique I easily obtained my A licence. Bird herself is an invaluable source of skydiving knowledge and had some great coach jumps and 3 way jumps with her and other fun jumpers there. Great pilot even brought us up to 14,000 feet- extra height=extra fun. Stayed on the resort in hotel style quality bedrooms. Also good spot for actin packed few days if you just wanna do some tandems, go quad biking, jetsking and night out in local town.
Can't wait to get back there to have ago at the B license.
Thanks again to all there, Graeme
Bird, Tim, Tao and the great catering staff!!!!!

“Amazing Staffs!”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed my skydiving experience with Graeme and Bird, who were both extremely professional about this sport. Frankly, I learnt a lot from them than what I did skydiving in the US. They were both humble people and always ready to teach eager newbies like me. :) I will really recommend Bird's Paradise for any newbie skydivers out there, especially those around Asia. Just ask the right season to head there, meaning, avoid the monsoon season! :)

“Amazing experience!”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

This was my first time skydiving and it was AWESOME! The owner, Bird, and Graeme made this day perfect. Graeme was so kind and picked me up at my hotel in Udon Thani, and gave me a ride to the resort. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and they made me feel relaxed and safe. Bird was my instructor and I could tell she was skilled. The tandem jump was fantastic and the whole experience was so fun. Graeme made a great movie and took some really good photos. I will HIGHLY recommend Bird's Paradise and would love to come back and take my license some day!

“Best Skydiving Vacation in years!!!”
Reviewed 29 April 2013

In April 2013, I discovered and experienced Bird's Paradise after coming from a terrible experience 2 months earlier in the other DZ in Thailand (Thai Sky Adventure near Pattaya) that almost made me abandon this sport forever...
Bird's Paradise is the perfect place for students, tandems, fun jumpers group...
The staff is very friendly and professional following all USPA rules and regulations...
Once contacted via their website, the staff will focus on your needs and plans accordingly to your expectations for your stay and skydiving objectives...
For my case, I set my goals to obtain the USPA B license and after some canopy training (new in the program for B license since 2012 with 5 jumps to improve canopy skills), Water training (with practicals in Bird's Paradise swimming pool), coached jumps and theory exams, I managed to achieve my goals and got the license within a week there. Some other students were working towards A license with packing training (available each days when I was there) and more...
They have a nice brand new colorful AIRVAN that takes you to 12,000ft while the other DZ in Thailand (TSA) takes you only to 9,000ft max due to air traffic near Bangkok.
And the most important feature to me, is that the plane and staff will wait for you to be ready (if you're slow to pack, you have a very experienced and friendly packer that will help you pack you chute) and not the other way around like in Pattaya where it's so commercial with Tandems coming every 2h or so and makes you feel in a factory without being able to enjoy the sport...
Eventhough Bird's Paradise is located 1h driving from Udon Thani and in a very quiet calm non-touristic area, this place is a paradise for skydivers and I will surely recommend it to anyone.
I will come back there as soon as possible (already planned for July) and every time I can...
There are nice accomodation in resorts in the nearby town Saweng Daen Din (15min drive) if you prefer to be near the bars for the evening...
