A good welcome awaited us as we drove into an attractively-lit forecourt with a restaurant building behind in this quiet rural area. We were however conducted not into the building but into a delightful small thatched lodge - one of many overlooking a number of small lakes. Thus we were totally private in our small group, and enjoyed a very good meal with a variety of good Thai food. Service was good too, despite that fact that the staff had quite a walk between all the little lodges and the main building. Our impression was that the restaurant was newly-opened. Good luck to them and hopefully they can maintain standards in this really lovely and unusual setting.
