“Not to be missed At All”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

Went today ! Super enjoyed it. Where else in the world you get to so close to these magnificent Animals and you can touch them , caress them, put their head onto your Lap. The guides and Volunteers are super Helpful and will take hundred of pictures or make a movie from you own cameras at no extra cost.
Spare one full day to visit the place which is about 3 hours drive from Bangkok. Remember to wear light color clothes with full sleeves and full pants. Over all one of the bucket list items that are a must do once in lifetime.

“The most amazing experience”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

Nothing quite prepares you for what it feels like to pat and stroke these amazing animals.
A definite must if you are in Bangkok. I visited as part of a day trip to Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai - arriving here late afternoon.
It is fairly quiet towards the end of the day, when the fully grown tigers are brought out into the quarry area to meet the public.
Before venturing in you must sign a form, a waiver if they attack you I suppose. Putting fear aside, you are lead over to the very docile animals and meet the monks who look after them. Workers take as many photos or video of you playing with the tigers as you like.
The head monk put something in my hand to feed a tiger then stuck my hand in the tigers mouth. I had no choice and was slightly terrified as he said "feel the teeth - very sharp aren't they".
Overall touching these amazing animals and overcoming fear will leave you with an experience which is hard to top.

“Second trip to Tiger Temple”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

Must do experience for tiger lovers like my wife and photographers like me!!! Play & bottle feed tiger cubs, walk with the adolescent tigers and give them a bath, walked a full grown tiger to their open play area and took tons of pictures of 8 tigers jumping, playing and swimming. Worth the 10 hour day (2+ hours from Bangkok and 3 hours back).

“big (negative) changes over the last years”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

My kids went in 2007 to the Tiger temple and super enjoyed it. open friendly and "natural" environment (as far as humans and tiger can live this close). Now, 2013, the operations have commercialized substantially. Most pics need lots of extra Bht and the tigers seen without energy. some area's around the tigers are restructured into a kinda zoo with black bears and birds. True pity because it wrecked the beautiful memory my kids (now 20) had of this place. The biggest worry I have is that people start seriously exploiting the animals just for human pleasure like you see in some zoo's.

Really enjoyed it here as its a one price visit. (No nasty extras when your there) the guides will happily snap 100's of pics of you and tigers and won't charge you any extra. Overall its a really good visit.
