I am glad to know that its resort section is re-opened again after a closing since 2011. This time I've traveled with a group of 10 people (adults and kids) on December 2014 and we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.

I stayed in Jacuzzi type villa. Its exterior and interior are great with a bunch of facilities such as a huge sofa bed, TV, free WiFi, pantry, working table, and super huge bathroom including roof top area where I can see a yard with a herd of sheep/cow, pony and goose.

In front of the resort area, there are activities zone e.g. feeding a sheep, archery training, outdoor games where we spent one day for such activities (no additional charge for resort's guest). But what i love the most is biking. They have some bikes for rent and their staff willing to suggest you safety route within the area.

The restaurant is now move to the back area of the resort in order to avoid flies problem. I think it is better than before. It was not crowned and the food was acceptable but a bit pricey.

Only negative comment was a resort's service due to lacking of men-power. Before that they set their standard as high but now i felt that it was too far from that. I hope that they just need more times to reach that high again.
Date of stay: December 2014

Dear K.Kritinun

Thanks so much for your fruitful comments and so terribly sorry for this very late response.
We are planning to re-open the resort zone officially mid year 2015, it's now under renovating and settling "customer experience" to any possible touch points.

So as to now until the day comes, just exactly as you mentioned, the man power problem is one of our biggest obstacles because the staff are rotating to serve one-day trip customers. That's why we make sure guests understand our limitations currently should they wish to stay during this time. And I'm so greatful you do understand so.

We will definitely take your comments to prepare the better re-opening and we'll ensure you enjoy your next stay with us. Please stay tuned!

Best Regards,
Management Executive : The Scenery Vintage Farm

A very nice built up farm in Ratchaburi, Thailand. A lot of sheeps that you can feed and pet. Very nice surroundings and with small shops and a train that can take you on a tour around the area. This place is a well worth place to stop if going nearby.

This small farm sells you the experience playing, feeding, taking photos, walking.... with its sheep.... and sadly, just that! There is nothing more that that. just only interaction with sheep. The feeding experience is nice, though sometimes I think it's quite dangerous, considering those sheep throw themselves on you in order to get the glasses from your hands.

However, it's good for (Thai) people who loves taking photos with many American farmhouse style props provided around the farm.

The sheep-milk ice cream is sub par.... Its small restaurant is quite terrible (at least for Western food, I cannot comment on Thai food). The resort section, I didn't tried, so I cannot comment on that.

Dear Ronler

Thank you very much for your comment, it's quite fruitful for us to see the feedback and to improve to better service. Also we are terribly sorry for not reaching you a lot sooner.

We do hope you have good time with the farm experience. We note to prevent and/warn customers more on the dangerous circumstances in sheep climbing. These days, we ask early morning customers to feed the sheep outside the field - fence area, because the hungry sheep may attack you badly. We are developing the sign with lots pictures rather than the written Thai notice as per it is now. Hope to reach international standard and also for an easier understanding just by a quick glance. By the way, should you be around Suan Phueng area in the future, we will introduce our new activity - the Scenery Sheep & Dog show - this is a truly new edutainment for Thais. We hope you can stop by.

We are so sorry hearing you don't like our restaurant at that time. If possible, please kindly email directly to me@sceneryresort.com. We'd like to hear more on the experience you had so that we can improve our service better.

Note that we will re-open our resort zone officially by mid 2015 and the restaurant will be renovated and get ready for serving soon. Thus, your comments are very welcome and will definitely help us be more professional.

Best regards,

Second visit to this place in as many years. Chief activity there: watching Thai families and couples from Bangkok take pictures of each other in front of every sculpture, door, window, bench, sheep and sign. If this is your bag, go for it.

We did not stay overnight and so can not comment on accommodations but we did attempt to get a meal in the open air restaurant. A real mistake. Wildly overpriced and as another reviewer noted below . .fly heaven! These are no ordinary flies . . they are aggressive and will share your food with you despite all attempts to ward them off. Maybe something to do with the nearby sheep?

They offer an extensive menu of Thai and western food. They dont tell you this, but the western menu is not available. They cheerfully took our order for pasta . . .forty-five minutes later we finally gave up and walked out pasta-less. Nobody cared.

For a MUCH nicer experience if you are in the area and needing to feed sheep is Bellissimo on the left as you drive through the Suan Peung area. Interesting buildings, fewer sheep, fewer tourists and a very nice little coffee shop with excellent pastry.

Previously this resort had accommodations but it recently stopped accepting overnight guests and changed to an activities resort. For 40 Thai Baht (approx. US$1.30) (20 Baht for kids) you can feed and pet the sheep and for very small additional amounts you can enjoy other activities like archery, horse-riding, and carnival games. A nice place to visit if you're in the Suan Phueng area, which is about 3 hours drive from Bangkok. Many accommodations of different price ranges are available in the area.

The room reservation is really hard as such a long booking through months, but it really worthed!! Such a lovely and humble place to escape from chaotic city in just a few hours driving. The small individual cottages offering us privacy and tranquility.
Try sitting along the river and sipping your afternoon tea with good book, the moment will totally vanish your fatique from hard work/life.

Beside it's photogenic landscape and interior; room, service, and meals are undoubtedly fantastic as reputed by many. Lovely space and functional reflect the intelligence of owner/designer. This is the unique living space one would ask for.
