The 'little cafe in the woods' is a delightfully unique experience . Excellent home made cakes (light lunches are also available) pleasantly served in a wooded environment - you can eat inside and still bird watch on the feeders through the windows, or out in the garden - surrounded by birds and all things natural.
The star attraction is the wildlife - birds, mammals, which include red squirrels and harvest mice, pond dipping, and 8 acres of wild land for children and adults to explore. (There is a small fee to go round the nature reserve)
There is also an excellent shop for very good value quality bird food/feeders etc and much more of interest, plus a small but interesting wildflower nursery catering for many different habitats.
Although this location is well hidden, it is signed as the Wildflower Centre on the Bayfield Estate off the road between Letheringsett and Blakeney and should not be missed!
