“Outstanding Accomodation”
Reviewed 16 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We stayed at Burrs Farm for a long weekend recently to celebrate a number of family birthdays. Everyone was blown away by how lovely the farmhouse was from the get-go.

The rooms are spacious and well furnished and there are enough living areas that you could find a bit of peace and quiet if you wanted to despite sharing with 16 other adults and 4 children.

It is really well stocked - from having enough cups and glasses so you don't have to worry about washing up every five minutes to having enough cooking space and kit to enable us to cook Sunday lunch for 20 with three different joints of meat!

A truly magical weekend that everyone enjoyed and that will, hopefully, be repeated in the future.

“Wonderful house in stunning location”
Reviewed 4 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We and members of our family aged from 8 months to 65 years stayed at Burr's Farm to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It is the perfect house for a large family gathering with spacious, comfortable rooms and plenty of outdoor space for the children. The scenery is magnificent - stunning views from every window. We were blessed with good weather, too. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Burrs Farm on the weekend with a group of friends. It's a fantastic property set in a rural location with great views. The house is refurbished to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a brilliant weekend. Highly recommended

“Magnificent Country Holiday Let”
Reviewed 27 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Absolutely fantastic, just visited Burrs Farm for a university reunion with some pals. It is so nicely furnished and decorated, the kitchen has everything you could need and more. Lovely and clean, fantastic scenery. Some wonderful walking nearby and a trip to Buxton or Bakewell is a must. The owner, Annie was wonderfully helpful and even arranged early check in for us. The pool table and log burners got a lot of use! We will be back!

“Wonderful venue for an amazing Hen Weekend”
Reviewed 19 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

On arriving at Burrs Farm there was ample car parking space directly outside the house. The tastefully decorated house was so warm and welcoming with the log burners already lit.
The well equipped kitchen was a great space to welcome everyone, in fact we stayed in there most of the first evening & then went into the lounge which was plenty large enough for us 15 ladies - age range mid twenties to seventy. The dining room which we used for much of Saturday was lovely & cosy with adequate space for our art class & evening meal. All the bedrooms were beautifully furnished with several having en suite facilities. The remnants of the storm Abigail howled outside for much of the weekend but we were safe & warm inside.
