“Bright and brash but good food and tapas”
Reviewed 1 November 2012

We loved this bar before it was refurbished and it is a bit bright and brash compared to the way it was, but it is still a favourite spot for a tapas and coffee.

“Warm Welcome Guaranteed”
Reviewed 19 October 2012

Just two minutes from the airport, we regularly wait for our flights at the Casino instead of the airport lounge. Air conditioned, clean and spacious, the Casino has an extensive Tapas Menu and provides high quality, fair priced tasty food all year round.

Don't expect roulette tables or gambling, in Menorca a Casino is more of a club or meeting venue with bar and restaurant.

Tuesday night is Jazz Night with the house band and visiting guest musicians playing in the 60 seat venue throughout the summer.

Thursday night is Pinchos Night with tempting small tapas bites on a bed of French bread at €0.80 each. Keep going back for more as each new course arrives. Anchovies in Guacamole , Sardines in light batter, Sardines sails on kebab sticks, mini Beefburgers, Serrano Ham, Scrambled Egg & Bacon and Squid and ink Rice to name but a few.

Also look out for their 'Cena Espectacular', this translates as Five Course Meal and Entertainment. We went to see Olga Roman and were treated to Marinated Cod, Cold Melon Soup with Mint, Salmon fillet in cream sauce with Leeks, Mild Chicken Curry followed by Petit Fois and all for €25 per head.

A warm welcome is guaranteed with very attentive staff. The owner speaks excellent English and is only to happy to explain and recommend dishes.

There is a huge free car park adjacent to the Casino.

“one of our menorcan favourites”
Reviewed 13 January 2012

been going to menorca pretty much every year for a summer holiday since the late 70's but have also extensively travelled the world and can honestly say the casino is one of my favourite places in the whole world. if you just want a couple of cups of coffee and a breakfast (traditional spanish, english or german are all well catered for) whilst you watch the world go by the casino terrace is the perfect place. if you want a nice dinner in the restaurant in the evening then the casino is also the place to go, never had a bad meal in here and the staff are always friendly and hospitable.

“Best resturant in Menorca by far!”
Reviewed 28 September 2011

I rarely eat out in Menorca but when I do it is nearly always at the Casino. The food, service, atmosphere and prices are great. Highly recommend 'Jazz Night' which is Tuesday's and Thursday's at the Casino.
