Found Spire Cottage online, and booked it for my cousins. The landlady was very helpful when she followed up with a call. The website is a good representation of the rooms. The dining area for breakfast is also delightful, and the food is 5 star. All local food items. The rooms were adorable. In very good taste. The Landlady obviously loves what she does, and her accomodation. The four poster bedroom is beautiful, yet country quaint. The en-suite is gorgeous and includes an edwardian footed bathtub. The twin room with own bath room also has an edwardian footed tub. What can I say. Its the best B&B I have encountered in the UK in 25 years. Bravo!!

Room Tip: Four poster room seen, and FABULOUS for romantic english charm, in best of taste. Twin room opposite...

Was given an upgrade to ensuite room on arrival. Also much needed tea served up for us outside. Great place run by nice people who obviously know what customer service should be!! They have set standards others need to reach...

Room Tip: Not all ensuite. Stayed in 4 poster room which has a lovely bathroom.

We recently stayed at Spire Cottage as we were working in Chichester. The B&B is excellent, lovely and clean and the rooms are beautiful with lovely views out across the local countryside. Jan, the host was lovely and very welcoming. It is a good central B&B for exploring Chichester and the surrounding area. Can highly recommend The Spotted Cow local pub for food as well. Will definitely return again to explore more.

We stayed at the Spire Cottage in Chichester on a last minute booking and are very glad they had a room available. Conveniently situated outside the main town but not far enough away that you felt miles from anywhere. We stayed in the Annexe which was lovely, especially as we had our own front door and garden area. Although the weather was atrocious the night we stayed we will certainly try and go back again in the summer to enjoy the garden at its best. Breakfast was superb (especially if you like smoked salmon and eggs). Fresh milk in the fridge and a pot of tea served in a teapot made it all the more delightful. The room was very clean and well appointed. Well worth a visit.

This is my favourite b and b ever. Fabulous rooms, beautiful breakfast and a charming welcome always from Jan. A couple of good pubs within walking distance. Close to Goodwood. All in all, perfect! Absolutely love the place, which is why I return every year for Glorious Goodwood.

Everything one could wish for in a B&B - and more besides: welcoming pot of tea, beautifully decorated and appointed room, fresh flowers, complimentary toiletries, lovely breakfast including home made marmalade, fresh-pressed orange juice, tasty full English.......

For evening dinner, The Blacksmith's Arms, 5 mins by car with good value food and a friendly atmosphere. Easy canal walk into Chichester and convenient bus journey back to Spire Cottage.
