We visit this cinema regularly. This is cinema as it used to be as it is privately owned and has not changed much since the 1930's. It is an experience in itself with the original red velvet seats and original décor. It shows all the latest films at half the price of a cinema chain. There is an intermission halfway through the film when ice cream is sold and you can get popcorn and sweets at the kiosk. There is also an organ and there are organ concerts at regular times throughout the month. There are also special daytime deals for senior citizens and special deals on Mondays. There is also an exhibition with the cinema history in the main corridor that makes for interesting reading. A real old fashioned cinema experience at great value. Highly recommended if you want to see a film in quaint and charming surroundings in a relaxing venue.
