We had paid for half board which i can't recommend enough as everything at disney is so expensive and it is better to have it prepaid than to eat into your spending money. We ate here every evening. I recommend you book first thing in the morning in order to get a good time as we had to eat at 10pm on our first night. There is no lunch available in Sequoia which is ridiculous on a rainy week or if one of you party is ill which was our case unfortunately. The food was nice plenty of salads, baked potato, gratin, sausage, turkey and stuffing, fish, meatballs, rice pasta etc lots of deserts a and fruit salad. It didn't change at all from day to day which would have been nice but overall can't complain as it was nice in comparison to a lot of the park restaurants.

Great selection of food, lovely salads, very tasty mains and yummy desserts. Something for all, very impressed! Booked our time well in advance and no queuing to get in.

We visited here during our recent trip to DLP after reading good reviews. Our reservation was for 7.45pm and the restaurant was very busy - I would advise going earlier or later if possible. There was a selection of salad, omelette, 1 braised beef dish, 1 stuffed turkey dish, salmon, chicken portions, 1 rice dish, 1 pork dish, jacket potato's, chips plus fish nuggets and sausage for children. We tried most of the options although actually getting to them amongst the crowds was difficult at times. The omelette was especially delicious but the jacket potato's were hard and the beef was very 'fatty' and difficult to chew. The rest of the food we tried was just ok. The food was hot and the trays were regular replenished by staff who did not engage with customers at all, other than to tell them to move out of the way. There was also a selection of breads, olives etc which we didn't try. The desserts section contained choices of gateau, cheesecakes, donuts, jelly and cream. There was also a children section of marsh-mellows, sweets etc. The desserts we tried were nice but nothing exceptional. The waiter was polite but run of his feet so it took a long time for us to get our drinks and the bill. For 1 adult + 1 child buffet meal plus 1 beer the bill came to 53 euro's - expensive for what we had. I'm glad we've been and tried it and it wasn't a particularly 'bad' experience but I personally wouldn't go back.

We stayed in another hotel very close to the Sequoia Lodge, and witnessed mealtimes similar to "Mad dogs Breakfasts" folks grabbing at bread rolls, tasting items before placing the half eaten items back on the display!......need I say any more?
So you can imagine how we felt when we walked into the Hunters Lodge, and witnessed the lovely food, service and atmosphere. We both said that when we return to Disneyland Paris, we will book into the Sequoia Lodge.
Food heaven, and we had a great waiter Nicholas, who spent a lot of time with our 6yr Son teaching him the correct accents on his French, a lovely bloke.
TOP TIP...BOOK EARLY
