This hotel is perfect for a no frills base to the parks. It's a 5 minute walk or 2 minute on the shuttle bus. The room was clean and a fun cowboy theme which my children loved and very handy connecting room for grandmother next door. The included continental breakfast was always well managed and fully stocked. My kids have a new found love for croissants. I had read negative reviews about the staff being rude but I didn't encounter one rude cast member and all made a huge fuss of the children. Happy children = happy parents! Id you're wanting luxury then this isn't the hotel for you, but for a great family friendly, clean room in an excellent location to threat reason you're there, then I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Will choose this hotel again should we revisit

Let's be honest, when you go to Disneyland to spend a few days you only need a good place to sleep and have a good rest at night, because during the day you're at the parks. So you don't need anything too fancy.
This is a simple and basic hotel, but very clean and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The staff is really nice and helpful. If you're nice to them they will be nice to you. All of them speak english, even when their english isn't very good they always make an effort.
You have free Wifi in the lobby but not in the rooms (unless you pay for it). The internet was fast, didn't have any problems with it.
About breakfast, be sure to make your reservation for 7am or 7.30am otherwise it will be a huge mess... Full of people... Rude people. And a hard time to find a place to seat.
I went there in low season (first week of June), I can't even imagine how it would be if the hotel was completely full.
Same thing for lunch/dinner time. Go early.
Every day there are the same choices but you have lots of variety to chose from. For all tastes. I thought the food was pretty decent.
Don't buy any water in the restaurant. There are free jars of water inside.
Everyday you see disney characters in the lobby to take pictures with the guests. It's a good opportunity because usually the queues are a lot smaller than the ones in the parks.
There's a shuttle every 8 minutes to take you to the parks and vice-versa. But if you prefer walking you get to the parks in a few minutes and the path is really beatiful.
I stayed here for 4 nights and I would return for sure.

We stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne at the beginning of December 2013 for a mid-week 4 day break whilst spending our first day travelling, seeing a bit of Paris, two days at the hotel and parks and last day back in Paris centre up to the top of the Eiffel tower.
We like to cram as much in our trips possible in a short time.
The hotel Cheyenne is typically decked out with all Disney-esque touches and atmosphere. As soon as you arrive at the hotel you know that it is something to do with Disney.
Having been to Florida a few times we did not expect too much with Disneyland Paris as we thought it would not be the same and would feel totally different. To be honest this was not the case. We were pleasantly surprised to feel the Disney magic and the parks and how the hotel were presented and constructed really provided good vibes.
The hotel foyer is great with loads normally going on including the appearance of special guests (i.e. Disney Characters). Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating with the odd exception but no real complaints.
The check-in process could have been a little more special with more smiles but generally friendly - so again no complaints.
The rooms are decked out in western themes and the whole hotel is spread out like old western streets and saloon bars, except they are really hotel rooms. We were lucky enough to get a room away from the main reception and food court which meant quiet. I know this sounds silly at a Disney Park, but its good to get back to room and be able to chill out after running around the parks and standing in queues all day.
Rooms are comfortable with themed furniture, wall coverings, bathroom, etc. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the ends were coming out and was practically falling to bits. The room was clean and bed linen and towels very good with exception to the duvet cover which was ripped at one end. We could have complained but for 3 nights we didn't feel this was necessary. Before travelling to Paris our mind-set was to not expect too much from the hotel as we hadn't really spent that much and for the amount of traffic which must go through the hotel in a year you really must not expect to have everything absolutely perfect and looking brand spanking new. So with this in mind, we were pretty happy with the hotel room as we only spent our time sleeping in it.
We had B&B in our package, which meant that we could use the food court at the rear of reception. This is an experience. One which I would personally not concern as being a highlight of the trip for any of the good reasons. To be totally honest, its a run and go food court to generally get a bit of breakfast before the parks. You get plastic plates / bowls like at kindergarten and food which is relatively like a school dinner... / breakfast. If you really want better quality food included in your package we would suggest possibly trying an alternative Disney Hotel which costs a little more. At the end of the day, the more you pay the better quality.
If your intentions are the same as ours (to literally do Disneyland Paris as cheap as possible in a Disney hotel) then this is a good option. But don't expect too much and you wont be disappointed. It is great for families and great for ease of access to the parks as the shuttle buses run on a regular basis, which are great, plus we walked to & from the parks which only took about 20 minutes maximum. Realistically, the location of the hotel is excellent which really gives this hotel the added bonus.

Now for other information other than the hotel:

Be prepared to be ripped off! Downtown Disney restaurants are really expensive. There is the odd cheaper option amongst the restaurants but generally, prices are really high. If you have a family take plenty of spending money. The alternative, take out shares with McDonalds before you go as this is the cheapest option available. We don't tend to use McDonalds that much but this was a godsend during our stay. Plus, as a word of caution, we had someone try to rip us off at the sandwich bar in Downtown Disney by shortchanging. Be extra cautious of being shortchanged as the guy who served us blatantly put 10 euros of our change in his pocket in front of us. Count your change before you leave!
In principle, the Disney stores were as to be expected with similar pricing as in Florida parks.
The train station is right outside the parks. Right outside the train station you can catch the buses to the hotels (free of charge). This is a very good service and runs very regular.
Both parks are very good and the rides are mainly different to the ones in Florida, so don't expect Space Mountain to be the same, or the haunted house, etc. There is plenty to see and do at the Magic Kingdom park. This is the best park and most rides were very good. Space mountain is excellent and very different to the one in Florida.
By far the best ride in the MGM park is the Toy Story Race Car. This sounds to be a kids ride but it is great fun for all the family. Rock N Roller Coaster is just as great as Florida, but Tower of Terror is no where as good. No matter what, you cant help but have a smile on your face as it is great fun, no matter what age you are. We are in our mid 30's and we feel like big kids and love it.
One key thing to remember, it really doesn't matter what age you are. You will have great fun at any Disney Park no matter what age you are. There are people of all ages from babies to OAP's. So no-one can say they are too old. As the moto says, it truly is where dreams come true!

We hope that our review has inspired you to book your stay and helped to provide some key information both on the parks and hotel.

We stayed here at the end of May for 4 nights as a family of 4. Having read mixed reviews before we left, I was concerned about what the hotel would be like. I would say the following:
- loved the Western theme, particularly the frontage of the accommodation blocks. Looked really 'disney' & appealing.
- reception was fine. Queue lines laid out seemed daunting but thankfully there wasn't much of a queue when we arrived (6ish).
- had buffet dinner on first night. Food was fine. Lots of choice & lots of it. Queuing system here (& every other buffet in disney) is totally ridiculous. You queue twice & it's unbelievably slow. Also once you've queued you're prevented from going into the dining room any other way than through the buffet. Top tip definetely walk all the way through, find a seat, settle down & then go back in. We spent first evening balancing plate and baby as didn't know if we could go back into the buffet!!
- room was better then expected. Clean, one bottle of shower gel, and bedroom not at all tatty. Nice. Bathroom could do with updating - plug in bath didn't fit properly so had to run the tap continuously whilst having a bath - and bath panel seen better days. Still was fine for purpose. However the size of the room would be the only reason that we wouldn't come here again. Very very small for 4.
- as per previous comments, key card was a total pain. Small niggle but gets more annoying as you get more tired!!
- fab disney characters. We had Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck. Queue to see them in the morning but had a cuddle straight away during their day visit.
- we opted for breakfast at 7 am so no queuing. Would definetely recommend this time as by 7.30-8 the queue was out of the restaurant, through the reception and out of the door.
Overall would rate this as good (something not available on tripadvisor!).

Stayed here in February with a 2 year old. The rooms are clean, the theme totally added to the magic for my little girl as she was really into toy story! I can't understand some reviews picking on things about this hotel, such as they expected 'more'. You booked a 2 star hotel!!! It deserves at least 3 stars or 3 star plus! A pleasant walk to the parks, 10 minutes stroll with a two year old. Breakfast can be busy after 8 o'clock, but reading the reviews before I came I thought it would be hell!! It really isn't and there's a great selection. The only thing id recommend if you can is to try and book a meal plan to save money as eating in the parks can be expensive. It's Disney!!! I think the block we stayed in was soaring eagle, which was fine but I didn't see a lift. Maybe request a low floor if you have a pushchair. Rooms nice and clean, friendly staff, would definitely use again. Have looked at others such as Newport bay and New York hotel but worried they won't have the same atmosphere as the wild west theme is great!

We stayed 3 nights on a Disneyland trip. The hotel was a short walk from the parks and an ideal location. Unfortunately that's where the good points ended. The rooms were very basic, small and uncomfortable. The bed was an old rickety wooden frame with a thin mattress. There were no wardrobes - only open hanging rails at the edge of the room. The bathroom sink had no plug and the shower had nowhere to put the shower gel/shampoo. Our key card didn't work properly. We had to jig it about to make it work and enter the room. Numerous other guests were having the same problem. The dining room for breakfast can only be described as 'disorganized chaos'. Very long queues to get in and a fight to find a table to sit at. Very long queues to get the very basic food. The coffee and juice machines were often empty, with no staff keeping an eye to refill them when needed. Staff were in short supply and were pretty unhelpful

Room Tip: I cannot think of any advice to improve the stay

This hotel is one of the cheaper hotels around the Disneyland area, however the theme makes you feel otherwise. The rooms have a nice detailing, keeping up with the western theme. There are disney toiletries in the bathroom, which is a nice added touch. The beds are comfortable. The room is quite small considering it was a room for 3/4 people to share. The hotek is around a 10 minute walk to Disneyland, it can seem quite far when you're tired! Overall a good stay at an affordable price.
