B&B Hotel Bethune Bruay-la-Buissiere

We used this as a stop over at both ends of our trip to allow better timing with the eurotunnel. It is easy to find comfortable, clean and has secure parking. There a range of food outlets less than five mins drive away. Nothing special but when all you want is to eat and sleep they're ideal.

A new hotel on the edge of a retail park with a choice of a Subway, McDonald's or Buffalo Grill for food. If you're looking to find a taste of real France stay well clear of this!. Alternatively if a Premier Lodge is your idea of a good time, well this is for you.
Hotel was clean and tidy with all mod cons and about as friendly and atmospheric as an amoeba. I'm really struggling to add anything but I guess you've got the idea..

This hotel is around an hour down the A26 and ideal for a stop over from Calais/Channel Tunnel if you have a long drive ahead.
Its very new and was easy to spot from the main road. Though it appears to lie in an industrial zone, in reality the surrounding units are more retail. The grounds are enclosed by a fairly high fence and the gates are shut at night making it quite secure.
We found it to be very clean and with a comfortable bed and a massive shower though the rooms are pretty much the same size as you get anywhere. Buffer breakfast was worth the €7 and only comment is that there is only one coffee machine meaning there can be long queues.

We have experienced some pretty dire hotels in France but this knocks the spots off all the Etaps, Ibis etc.Although situated in a retail park it is very quiet, private parking, helpful staff and VERY clean.I believe it was only bulit a couple of years ago and has soundproofed bedrooms which are modern and spacious. The Manager told us how proud they were of the hotel and so they should be! The night that we stayed 2 rugby teams from England were also there(celebrating their wins) we didn't hear a sound! I reallly hope the standard is maintained.

Room Tip: Very difficult to find without satnav.

At a rate for the room of 40 odd euros we didn't expect miracles, but this little gem has secure private parking, friendly helpfull staff and great rooms. A little odd maybe with the shower and wash basin in the room, only the toilet was separate, but really clean, comfortable and spaciious. Breakfast was only 4.50 euros but really good. No restaurant, but lots of eating places nearby. Great place for an overnight stay.

Having stayed at hotels as a stop-off before proceeding south over the past few years, we have had some grim experiences. The Inter, having being refitted about six months ago, is the cleanest and quietest hotel we have stayed at in France (the cleanest anywhere, as far as I can remember). We had excellent adjoining rooms with our 10 and 12 year old just next to ours. Those at the hotel were extremely helpful and breakfast, though not included, was good. If pushed to find faults with this hotel, I can only point to the lack of restaurant (there are many fast food places nearby).
