Our first, but certainly not our last visit to this hotel was a pleasurable experience. It was easy to locate and car parking was very good. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and directed to a very spacious, clean and comfortable room which despite the hotel being by a busy road it was extremely quiet.
The restaurant was pleasant with a good selection of dishes on the menu and was fairly priced.
The breakfast was most substantial with a vast range to choose from.
Each member of staff we came across was particularly courteous and helpful enhancing our first experience here. All costings were transparent with no hidden surprises and we would recommend this hotel to anybody.

This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are fab. Sound proofed, comfortable beds, very clean, roomy.......can't go wrong.

Plenty of room in the car park, a short walk into town. We didn't eat there at night but the buffet breakfast was substantial and good.

And dog friendly too!

The only minor gripe was that we couldn't get internet access but as we were only there for one night it wasn't a problem.

My husband was booked at this hotel during the week of 9/21/13 for business. Through a week of struggling through language barriers and culture differences each evening was a pleasure to return to this terrific hotel.

Hakim was his intial contact at check-in and through out the week provided service above and beyond what we would ever expect or require. It was such a relief that the majority of the visit there was at least one person on staff who spoke terrific english and was willing to help! Generally if Hakim was not available Melodie was another fantastic resource! The housekeeping and maintenance staff were all very nice and did a great job.

You can tell attention is being paid to this property as I witnessed several projects being completed throughout the week. The breakfast buffet was a good value and extremely convienent. Very happy with the decor and wifi was adequate (Americans, don't forget your plug converter). The bed was fantastic and new. The bedding fresh and quality with plenty of pillows. The TV was also new and had a nice picture. (Hint for the "French language challenged" look for a program that is dubbed over to french, there are alot, then use the options on the tv to select another language. If the program was orignally in English 9/10 times you will be able to watch it in english.) The shower makes me want to remodel mine at home (though the shower tray is somewhat shallow and with the open design you kinda need to be careful to not make a mess) Towels were huge and plush. Complementery toiletries were above par. Do bring a face/wash cloth. Maybe it is a French thing but we use them I don't think they do. Soundproofing was also adequate. He was orignially booked in an end unit and did ask to be moved to a more central location to improve wifi reception. This requested was accomplished without any hesitation. The new room was right next to the elevators and though several nights, judging by the parking, the hotel was pretty full noise was never an issue. Parking through the week in the evenings can be a challenge though, I think this has some to do with the restaurant's traffic and seminar/confrences. If you have an issue with the parking as was the case a few times over the week. Check with the front desk, we did and were quite satisfied with their solutions.

Room Tip: Wifi is strongest toward the center of the hotel. Back facing rooms overlook creek and weeping willo...

My wife and I arrived at this hotel tired and weary after a drive from the tunnel and we were relieved to be allocated a room, as we had not booked. Car parking arrangements were excellent. The pleasant manner of the staff and their attention to detail were somewhat surpislingly of the highest order. The room which we occupied was modern spacious and clean, and above all it was quiet despite the hotel being at the junction of two fairly busy roads. As a result we enjoyed a good nghts sleep.
We booked dinner in the restaurant and we were both pleased with the size of the menu and the quality of the food. The price of the food was reasonable. We intend to revisit this hotel and look forward to doing so

We stayed a night on our way down to the Dordogne. Although the position of the hotel is nothing to write home about (on a junction of busy roads) overall it is well located to break up a journey from Calais to SW France if you want to avoid Paris. The hotel was smart inside and the rooms were very clean and well appointed. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise with an interesting and varied menu with a lot of choice on the 3 course E24 menu. The staff were very attentive and helpful although, as the holiday season was just ending, there were not many guests for them to attend to. The only downside was that the air con in our room was obviously an inheritance from the hotel's old Mercure days and periodically emitted a noise like an electric alarm clock buzzer (fine if it happens in the morning, not good at midnight).so we turned it off and spent a warm night under just a sheet. We reported it so hopefully it was just a one-off which they will fix. There is also a car park attached to the hotel and a pay garage underneath - which they didn't charge me for (because the hotel wasn't very busy, or to compensate for the dodgy air con, I'm not sure).

We spent a night here on our way to the south of France and we were not disappointed. Yes, it is on a busy road but the interior is a haven of tranquillity. The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant in the evening where the service was very slick and the food delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

The exterior and the overall location, right on the main road, isn't very inviting but 'nil desperandum' the interior more than makes up for it. Although essentially it is a business hotel and lack a certain panache the service more than make up for it.

We only spent one night but if you cant manage the French lingo the staff are more than capable. the room was superb, I think a recent facelift has been completed. The room was smart, very clean and spotlessly tidy. The bed was superb, could have spent a week in the bed alone.

The food was typically French, as it should be, but the meals tried to be 'hote de cuisine' but didn't quite hit the mark. The service was brisk and a bit pushy but the waiter was on his own with 15 covers.

The room came with all of the usual services wifi, air conditioning and a ready supply of piping hot water.

Couple of small gripes. The shower tray overflowed in the bathroom although they did offer us another room but we refused it. Also the computer in the lobby, (well geographically more outside the toilets) probably had more viruses than a TB ward, best to use your own.

All in all thought pretty good for an overnighter but more than that I don't think so.

By the way good position to visit Monet's garden at Giverney

Room Tip: If want TV don't bother.... none of the channels listed in the hotel guide match the TV and they...
