Had the most glorious holiday with Sue and John, Biscuit and friends. The warmest of welcomes, fantastic hospitality and delicious food in the most wonderful surroundings. A jewel of place to stay. Do go to the capital Tobermory, buy some of the whiskey! and check out what's on at the Mull Theatre.

Room Tip: My twin room and facilities were superb.

It is disappointing that all we want to say has already been said!" We spent 3 extremely enjoyable nights at Barn Corrage. Hidden away in deepest Gruline, it was a real surprise to discover that the hospitality afforded was so superb. Sue and John made us more than welcome and when we left we felt that we had experienced real experts at work in the art of Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Service with a smile and unexpected benefits-scones/cake turned up every day. The area boasts a plethora of wildlife and whilst there we spotted fallow deer at night in the car headlights plus a couple of hares as well as Sue's menagerie. Golden Eagles too were spotted regularly.. The "Chucks" did their stuff and the eggs were very fresh every day. In short a marvellous and memorable stay which will stand out in our minds for many a day. We will almost certainly use the B & B again when and if we return to Mull. So useful for exploring all parts of the island including Iona and Ulva. Thank you Sue & John for your kindness and hospitality which was most appreciated.

Room Tip: We had roomy and comfortable accommodation and from others' comments we feel sure that the same...

We traveled around Scotland for 3 weeks staying mostly at B and B's. This was the most comfortable B and B I have stayed in for two reasons: the quality of the rooms and area for guests and the hospitality of the host. When we arrived, Sue greeted us warmly at the door and in the common room there fresh scones and cakes (you can email her for the scone recipe, it is delicious!). She put these out every day for us when we came back to our room. The guest areas are separate from the house, so you don't feel like you have to tip-toe around the place. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children and had both rooms at the B and B. The two spacious rooms were large and comfortable, with modern bathrooms (one en suite and one in the hallway). There is a large guest sitting room (where you eat breakfast) that was also very comfortable to sit and have a drink at night. Our 2 girls (4 and 7) loved being able to see the horse and sheep in the stable. I honestly felt so welcome and comfortable here that this B and B is going to be the one by which I judge all the others.

Wonderful place to stay. Sue couldn't do enough for us. We had freshly baked scones and jam or cake waiting in our room each afternoon. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the room with double and single and it had adequate room and cupboard space and a large bathroom.
The location is very quiet and private and central for exploring the island.
Would definitely recommend.

It's difficult to add to previous reviews - as they say it all. But, we couldn't agree more, so belatedly thought we should add our agreement to the perfect reviews quite rightfully written about this superb B & B thus far....

We quite agree with all previous comments - Sue was an excellent host. Always there to help, yet also very unobtrusive. This was especially so during the lovely breakfasts where Sue was very busy to tend to your every need, yet extremely polite not to "step on your toes" equally. The breakfasts were superb - especially the generous selection of vegetarian options which was especially welcome....

I cannot think of anything more to add to the very positive comments from everyone else.

So just a big thank you for the stay!

My first time on Mull , and what a delightful experience!! Sue has the gift for being a superb host. Her hospitality and most excellent accommodation goes beyond typical expectation. The rooms are immaculate with plenty of space, comfort and warmth. We had the 2 rooms (that's the whole accomodation) for our party of 3. there's also a lovely sitting room at night which is private for her guests. TV, dvd, books and music all there. The setting has the most lovely views. the breakfasts are wonderful, anything you could ask for!! She's a great cook! The free range eggs from her hens (the girls!) were amazing. We always had a surprise bit of home baking when we returned at night, and she always had welcoming lights on. The whole stay was full of warm hospitality and little touches that made our holiday very enjoyable. Sue's a gem! A great base for touring the island and for just relaxing! It's so peaceful. You won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: Larger room with double and single bed ( ensuite). One room with twin beds, with private bathroom al...

We spent 3 nights with Sue & John. This was our 2nd. visit. The price is incredibly low, especially considering that both rooms are quite large, the one being en-suite, the other with a private bath. Sue's menagerie includes one horse (Biscuit), 3 sheep, 6 hens and one very friendly dog! the setting is lovely and is is literally in the middle of the island, making all parts easily accessable. Sue's a great cook & her breakfasts were great. Anything we wanted, we got!
