The staff was not helpfull and none of them had a smile on their face or an eye contact! And whenever we said we have discounted woucher we heard the lady over the counter saying"ah not again!"
That was one of the most ridiculous thing!the foods portion were good but was colder than we expected.Nothing was special ,it was OK.Would I go again? - probably no!

“Sharing platter amazing, staff welcoming, children friendly”
Reviewed 17 July 2014 via mobile

Went on a Monday last week. Have to say food was really good. The sharing platter starter was massive and v appetising. Cod was nice and crispy and the burgers were soft and tasty (not over cooked like in some pubs). We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay by the 2 people working (one manager, one staff) and the pub was geared towards children as they have a kids colouring table that kept my two occupied for a good while while we waited for our meals. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely come again.

“Great little place”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

I've passed the Hollymere many, many times on my way to do my shopping and have never considered popping in for a meal but we thought we'd give it a try for this weeks pub lunch. What a pleasant surprise it was for us. The inside is very smart and the menu impressive. We both went for the ultimate grill and it was all cooked perfectly. The meal was huge but the price very reasonable. The service was second to none and the beer was lovely. Definitely up there at the top of our revisits list.

“Great decor, friendly service, great food”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We have been here before but started going a lot more regularly.
The food is beautifully presented and very tasty.
The prices for the food are on the higher side, but it is still good value.
The decor is nice and peaceful and the seats are comfortable.

The staff are friendly and the quiz on Sundays and Wednesdays is very entertaining.. the girl who runs the quiz is super cute as well!!
