This is a small, child friendly museum. Offering expert knowledge along with an array of interesting machinery. Children are encouraged to go to the top of the lighthouse accompanies by an adult. On accomplishing this feat children are then rewarded with a certificate and stickers. Colouring activities are also provided in the tea room, whilst adults relax with a much deserved and delicious cup of tea. Light refreshments including singing weenies, which I was told are local delicacies and are light cakes which make a singing noise while they are being cooked can also be bought and consumed either on the premises or taken away for later consumption. Ample parking is provided.

We visited the Souter lighthouse same day as the "Foghorn Requiem". Although the Place was packed With People we got to see the lighthouse from inside and were given wonderful and insightful guiding by the volounteers from National Thrust. I'll recommend all lighthouseinterested people to visit this Place.
