I often pop into Serendipity for lunch with my children and always enjoy my visit. On my last visit with my Mum I saw that they did children's parties so enquired and booked for my daughters 7th birthday. After a few emails with the owner to arrange the finer details, we turned up on the day to a fabulous Mad Hatter themed tea party. Cute little "drink me" bottles of pink pop, a cake stand full of cupcakes, jam tarts and French fancies, plenty of sandwiches and bowls of sweets filled the table which also had Alice in wonderland themed decorations on. Everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much for the staff who really looked after the girls and had the party planned beautifully. My daughter had chosen wooden trinket box decorating, the boxes were really good quality and while the paint dried on them they had a colouring contest and a rather loud game of pass the parcel! It was all very relaxed for me and the girls were well looked after and catered for by the lovely staff. Would recommend Serendipity to anyone! Will be popping in soon for lunch and a cuppa (I love the vintage tea sets you get with your tea) Thank you for making my little girls party so enjoyable for us all!! Emma

Fantastic catering for 150 people, a large selection of sandwiches, cakes and nice tasty and interesting choices of buffet items, frittatas and bruschetta's, very tasty and fresh, I would highly recommend. The service was also very smooth and efficient and everything was beautifully presented. Very reasonable rates too.

I visited with friends for Sunday brunch - food and atmosphere were amazing. We spent hours in here enjoying the live music and even managed to squeeze a piece of cake in too! Will definitely be coming back. :)

A marvellous experience from booking to leaving, I had wanted to take my daughter, grand daughter and mother for afternoon tea, 4 generations of ladies! I booked on the good reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. On arrival our table was set and high chair all ready for the little one. The food was all fresh and homemade, scones were gorgeous, the service was very efficient and we were very quickly served with tea, coffee and champagne, all of us were also given a complimentary box of chocolates. The staff really looked after us and there was some very pleasant live music from a guitarist. I was very impressed, my previous experience of mothers day outings have been crammed places, rushing people in and out to get seats for the next group, this was very different, one sitting so no rushing us out the door, We also left with doggy bags and a helium balloon much to my grand daughters delight. A very classy affair! loved the little ring for tea bell on the table, nice little touch
