“Friendly Hotel”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

we stayed at this hotel for one of our 'going somewhere we've never been before' trips. I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly & helpful, without being too overpowering. When I asked about the weather & distance to places they were only too willingly to help. We wanted to go to the beach & we were recommended a nice quiet spot which was just what we wanted. We took up the meal deal offer & were not disappointed. Breakfast was lovely, not too much pressure to eat it all. As it was all buffet we were able to pick & choose whatever we wanted. The evening meal was also really good. Plenty of choice & good value for money. There was a buzz about the place which made it feel like restaurants used to be! The only bad thing was that the fire alarm went off at 11pm & we had to assemble outside. The staff were very helpful & looked after us until we were allowed to go back inside - the alarm was triggered by a group of 'guests' smoking out of their windows!

all in all a great trip that we will be repeating - we've found a nice hotel that we will visit again!

Everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. All clean and tidy and looks like it has recently bee refurbished. Didn't eat in the adjoining pub but looked ok.

We stayed here for night night in June when we went to see Coldplay, I booked a family room as our 16 year old son went with us, the room was ideal a made up sofa bed for him and which was very comfortable. The staff were great very helpful and friendly getting us to the concert, Brewers Fayre next door couldnt fault the food and drink.
Next morning the breakfast was great self service everything was hot and as much as you could eat overall just what I expect from a Premier gresat value for money cant fault them, better than alot more expensive hotels I stay in.

Excellent hotel! Exceeded my expectations on so many levels - spotless clean, warm, very welcoming (especially Ross on reception and Fiona in the Brewers Fayre). Staff can't do enough for you! Will definitely stay here again without a doubt! Location is good, nice and quiet too!

Room Tip: You cant go wrong here! Spotless clean!

Down on an overnight stay. Staff excellent and had my preferences ready with room at end of corridor. Great quiet sleep, rooms very clean. Brewers Fayre next door was good for food and drinks, although guys fix wallpaper coming off ceiling, then you will be 100%.

Don't want to end on a negative, so will say great staff, great sleep well done.

Hi everyone I stayed at the premier Inn Wessington Way Sunderland, myself and 2 children had a lovely stay, premier inn staff are competant very helpful, very friendly, happy chatty and great at their job, the room was very clean, comfortable, there was a lovely television on the wall, great for the kids, free wifi for 30 mins which proved very helpful indeed. The tea milk etc was topped up every morning, clean cups etc, the only problem was the steam didnt seem to go away and the windows dont open much so it was a bit hot, other than that a great stay and very quiet after the first night as on that night a an next door was snoring so i didnt sleep too well. We also ate in the brewers fare restaraunt, which was awful, we had to wait for ages for our meal and even longer for our dessert, terrible service and terrible food, we ate elsewhere after that.

Room Tip: choose a room away from the road as its quite noisy otherwise, we got a room on the road side but th...
