“Nice place to stay”
Reviewed 22 December 2012 via mobile

I often try to avoid premier inns, however this place was in a great location and near where I needed to be.

The room was warm, the bed was comfortable and a nice choice of hard and soft pillows. All stuff that is often lacking from value business hotels so I was very happy.

The hotel staff were super friendly, and the guy that check me in lent me a phone charger which was a life saver.

Great place and would stay again.

Lovely clean rooms. Staff very helpful & friendly withour being over the top. didn't stay for a meal as visiting family so can't comment on that. Have stayed at other premier's in the area which were also fine but this one is the best. a million miles ahead of Travelodge.

Stayed here one night with 2 grandchildren. It was a treat for them mainly to go to Silksworth ski centre. The hotel is easy to find off the A19. on arrival the young man on reception could not have been more helpful, I had forgotten to bring directions to Silksworth but he quickly printed me them off the computer and also gave us verbal directions. Our family room was on the ground floor and compared to other Premier Inns we have stayed in the family room was small for 4, it would have been ideal for 3. That was our only small grumble. the room was spotless and there was a large flat screen wall mounted telly which the kids thought was much better than the usual ones on the desk. Breakfast was great and the manager and staff could not have done more for us. Will definatley be back again. The location would also be good for visiting the football ground, aqua centre and the seafront, the main road outside goes stright to all of these places.

Breakfast was the worst experience I have had in a premier Inn. Three staff continually chatted with each other. When they eventually came to take my order, she got it completely wrong.20 minutes later they were about to give me another breakfast simply because they couldn't remember which table ordered that particular breakfast.

I'll stay at the other Premier inn, next time.

Stayed here as it was only a few miles from my meeting the next morning. Would have preferred to have booked the other Premier Inn with the New Orleans themed restaurant but it was fully booked. Brewers Fayre dinner was adequate but not exciting (pub grub) and service was limited to delivering the food to the table. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable and after driving 260 miles, that was all I really wanted, slept like a log. Breakfast was great, friendly staff, as much as you can eat, and great value. Would definitely stay here again when on business, but would consider finding somewhere different for an evening meal.

I only stopped over the one night but this is a very good example of what Premier Inn does well. Having called in at the one just down the road ( apparently this happens a lot ) I was directed to this particular Premier Inn which is situated right by the Nissan Garage on the A19.

Check in was fast and efficient and the guy on reception was helpful and proud to point out that I had checked in at the best Premier Inn in town - nothing like a bit of local rivalry! For some reason all the staff here seemed really bright and cheerful with people holding doors open and smiling all the time. I can only assume that it must be a good place to work as they are clearly an exceptional bunch.

The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. There is ample parking. The Brewers Fayre is attached to the hotel and offers great value for money and equally friendly and efficient staff.

Breakfast was excellent with the usual wide choice of menu from cereals to full English. This is also where the Premier Inn excel and this particular Premier Inn has the edge on most of the others in terms of keeping everything fresh and well topped up.

I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it. Also - the guy on reception ( wish I had remembered his name ) was right about the larger TV screens - they are pretty cool!
