“great specialty scones”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2014

No issues with service ( see previous reviews) staff were friendly and efficient. Scones very fresh snd delicious. Recomend the cherry and marzipan. Very pleasant environment , indoors as visited inJanuary but will return in warmer weather. The waves at Roker were worth seeing today though.

“Rude owner/manager”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2014 via mobile

I ordered a scone and some water..they charged me about 80p for ice n lemon in the tap water! I queried this and I found the manager extremely rude and arrogant...also my partner took my son to the toilet on a previous occasion. He was dying for the toilet..all the arrogant manager was bothered about was if we were customers. He was 2 at the time..they were being funny about him going to the toilet..the manager said that someone had smeared poo on the walls..dont tar people with the same brush! My partner was going to order smthn but decided not to after that. Total arrogance and rude...

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

Me and my family always go into the the snow goose. The staff are very friendly such hardworkers. The cakes are amazing, they do lovely caffe lattes, ice lattes and the best milshakes. Definetly would recommend this place if you are looking for the perfect coffee shop!

“Good Place for a natter with friends”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2013

My group of friends have enjoyed many sunny lunchtimes enjoying a snack and a cuppa at the Snow Goose.
The food and drinks are well prices and it is very pleasant sitting outside in fine weather.
We round off our lunch by strolling around the Marina and if we are feeling energetic a good walk along the prom to Seaburn.
Well worth a visit.

“My local coffee shop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2013

Clean, beautiful, marine-front coffee shop serving exquisite home made fayre. The cakes and scones are exceptional, with specials such as locally caught crab sandwiches and duck and hoisin paninis. The corned beef pie is the best I've ever eaten.
