This is my local cafe and the food is delicious. It is the only one around the area which is right on the door step of Herrington Park. This is probably why the prices are a little steep.... £7 for panini or pie with a side of salad or crisps and thats without drinks. It usually costs about £10-£12 each when i go for food and drink. It is small and cosy and staff never stop. I go there for a treat as i think its a bit pricey for light lunch. It is right at the foot of Penshaw Monument and has lots of lovely plants for sale within its grounds. There is limited seating outside for the summer. Lovely food and staff but a bit expensive.
