“load of rubbish will not return”
Reviewed 29 August 2014

my 4 year old son got hit on the head and badly grazed which has now turned into a bruise on his forehead off some older boys hitting him with the big blue balls on the higher level of the play area, and my 16 month old daughter was getting balls stotted off her head by a 5 year old and older children were playing in the under 4's area and pushed her out the way several times, after being there for an hour and a bit i left!!! will not be returning!!!!

“cookie funtime letdown”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

This is a rundown establishment that is surposed to entertain children. Expensive to get in staff rude and not welcoming and the whole area dirty, cold and uncomfortable. My boys went to the toilet and when they came back they said it was worse than a campsite toilet and they are 6 and 8. The ladies toilets were dirty and there was paper and mess all over. The cup of coffee was overpriced and the counter had food stains on it.
This needs a complete revamp not only the premises but also get rid of the unfriendly, rude staff.
Won't be going back.

“So dirty wont go back until been giving proper good clean !!!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

3rd visit to this place and im afraid it will be the last , unless they employ staff who care ...went with about 4 or 5 friends and our kids the other day agree with other reviews that the play area is good for the kids but the whole place was just littered with dirty tables ect ..there was not one area u could touch that was not filthy and sticky even the food counter where u order ..the menu's were sticky and tea , juice stained the tables were filthy and not once cleared in the 4 plus hours we were there .the sauce bottles were so dirty and u couldnt even get the sauce out of them they were thick and full of old sauce even the plastic cutlery when it eventually came was all stuck together and looked asi if it was bein refused ...there were 4 or 5 staff on duty who were sitter round one table talking and eating and the place was a tip ..what a shame but at £ 5.60 a child it was not cheap either ..im not one to complain and this is the first bad review ive ever written but honestly something has to be done there sharply as im sure the management would be appalled !!!

“Kids love it but table areas so dirty!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

When entering the seated area a family were just leaving, their table littered with their finished food etc....it stayed like this when we left 4 hours later...the whole place was untidy, tables littered with dirty plates and bottles etc, staff just don't bother cleaning the tables which is a shame as the play facilities are pretty good. Toilets were scruffy too! My suggestion would be that staff keep on top of cleaning the tables rather than sitting around one having a chat!

“Awsome area for kids...”
Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

Visited this many of times with my son of 3 and friend's children.....
Very friendly staff in different area.
Price very reasonable.

-A huge soft play area over 4 floors with rope bridge, slides, tunnel slide and ball pool.
-Small selection for younger children.
-Large area for balls.
- Race cars (that you can drive) extra £1.
- large bouncy castle.
- Area with plastic toys ie seasaw, push along cars.

Cafe is very reasonable with old and cold food, and hot drinks in a cup rather than a paper cup...

Toilet's are checked regular but you do find them a little untidy at times - no fault to the staff but the parents not checking on their own kids.
Shop, hairdressers and photographer on site if you want a pamper.......

Negative points:
*Parents not checking on their children - its your responsibility it will be a different story if they get hurt them I'm sure they will be blaming the staff.
*Sometimes in the afternoon can be a bit dark I think I lick of white paint would brighten it up.

We sure will be back its definitely one of the best soft play's in Sunderland and the staff do a fantastic job - Well done :)
