“Wonderful plase to eat and meet”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

Went to the tea rooms today and as always staff are very helpful, and very smart this is a very quaint place to go to have one of the best cup of teas I have had, the cake is light and all homemade. I can see how they have been awarded 5 stars.
Will go back again and again you pay for what you get and in these tea rooms you get a lot.

Waited 30 minutes for 2 bog standard teas and 2 rounds of toast and jam and were charged an unbelievable £8.50 for the pleasure!

“Unique for Sunderland”
Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

Don't get a lot of places with some character inside. However I do find the choices of food quite limited. Otherwise service was great, teapots and teacups were of excellent quality, fab place to have a catch up with my girl friends - as long as we're not too loud (or would get awkward stares from other customers, lol!).
