I stayed with my son who was sailing at Roker, this was the sixth time we have stopped here.
Premier Inn are just about right when you are staying away on a regular basis due to the cost and convienience of coming and going as you please.
This particular Hotel has a Bar and somtimes there is music on, But dont worry you cant hear it when you are in your room.
The staff were freindly and efficient whats more to say? its a premier Inn.

I stayed here for four nights while I was taking a course on the nearby industrial estate and was surprised to find it to be a wonderful place to stay. Now, this is a Premier Inn, so it is very basic. The room is simple, the bed not entirely comfortable, the amenities basic. However, the hotel is very clean and the hotel staff is tremendously helpful and friendly. I don't think I have ever encountered such friendly staff. I forgot my phone charger and the young woman at the front desk actually gave me hers to use for the duration of my stay, which I truly appreciated. The restaurant next to the hotel is less of a delight. It is comfortable enough, but tremendously pricey for what is on offer. The breakfast is horribly expensive, both Continental and Cooked. I didn't feel the offer nearly justified the price. On the whole, though, if you are looking for a comfortable budget hotel in Sunderland, this is a good choice. I would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

My wife and I had two nights pre-booked on-line.

Parking was easy, booking in was pleasurable. The day staff was just about to finish her shift as the night staff was there. She didn't rush the vooking in, gave us a full explanation of advice and local facilities was very friendly and introduced us to the night staff, Dorothy, who was also just as polite.

The whole place was clean and fresh smelling, clean bathroom and toilet. The beds were comfy which gave us a great night sleep.

The resturant has live bands Fri & Sat, nice atmosphere, food nice too. Breakfast also served there in the morning with a great selection of choice.

Not the cheapest place to stay but a nice treat.

I'd highly recommend this place.

Have stayed at this Premier Inn previously and on the whole everything was as it was. Unfortunately the restaurant adjacent is not owned by Premier Inn and no longer provides dinner and breakfast for guests, something I mentioned in a recent questionnaire. The staff did provide complimentary cereal bars, muffins, fruit, etc but I was looking forward to the Premier breakfast.

Stayed with my family in two family rooms, beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, parking was free with plenty of spaces, Noise was minimal and we slept well. We had breakfast which at more than £8 would have been expensive however kids eat free so as our party consisted of 3 adults and 3 children it averaged out at just over £4 a head so more reasonable. overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Pretty much as you would expect from Premier Inn as they are what they are wherever they are! Not a bad location being a couple of miles out from the town centre, and all in all a reasonable experience.

Usual Premier Inn experience. Very good, friendly, well trained staff. Comfortable but basic room. Good bed. No noise from anywhere. Loads of parking. Just out of town location. Only issue is the switch from buffet breakfast to having it brought to us whilst still eating cereal. Unable to choose quantity of items or review their quality prior to selection. Coffee absolutely abysmal - stewed and weak.
