“OK It's free, but rather dull”
Reviewed 19 February 2009

I went with my partner and were in and out in 15 minutes. It might be ok if you have children, but we found it very boring. It never told you anything about the glass industry in Sunderland, which you would think it would.

Was alright, but don't build your hopes up for a fantastic day out.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 8 September 2008

The National Glass Centre is in a lovely setting on the banks of the river, next to the university riverside campus. Its has a good array of exhibitions and interactivity. You can watch glass being blown in the traditional way. There is also a decent retaurant overlooking the river.
