We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. We get great food and very good service - no matter how many are in. You can ask for the dishes to be changed to your taste. But we like certain dishes so we stick to them - as we know they will be good. By the way we think that they do the best onion bahjis- nice and crisp and dry. We live in Ireland now but when we come back we go there still. Keep up the great food.

Have been many times to moti raj and everytime has been enjoyable with everyone enjoying the food and coming back time and time again. Very good for work socials. They're flexible with bookings to can book a number, and if more come than expected usually no problem so long as its during the week, much busier towards the end of week than beginning. Food is well priced, nicely cooked, always warm and full of flavour. Atmosphere is smart casual, sometimes noisy but thats only if a lively crowd are in, sometimes quieter. Highly recommended. Along with bengal dreams one of the best indians in the region. Special deals on Sunday and Tuesday are good value and halve the price. Good choice too.

me and my friend just thought we'd go to a indian resturant, because it was her birthday although it was very noisy and busy. It was the best resturant the food was great, the staff were awesome, you can make as much as noise u want too because the staff arent really bothered. i would reccomend this resturant too very noisy people, and the atmosphere is just awesome there.

My husband and I dined here in January. It was a very quiet night due to the snow so the restaurant was deserted and as a result the service was very good. We were not impressed by the food - it was just average and certainly nothing special although it had been recommended to us. The atmosphere is lacking but the worst part of the evening was when my husband used the bathroom as one of the staff left the toilet cubicle and proceeded to walk straight out of the bathroom without washing his hands!!! URGH - the potential to pass on hepatitis!!! Needless to say we will not return.

Had a lager frenzy? Then go to The Moti Raj for a curry afterwards. If you want a quiet, sophisticated meal, I wouldn't bother!

The food is ok. The pickle tray is good and the curry's are cheap and cheerful, but don;t expect anything too fancy. It's great for parties of people as the staff aren't bothered if there's noise or if you're drunk.

Perfect for stags, night out with work, but not so much a couple/romantic meal.
