This was a very nice little hotel. We stayed for one night and it wasn't a hotel to hang around in, but one to get your head down. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We walked in and out of Monaco and it is about 30min walk away.

We stayed overnight in this hotel as we were attending a function in Monaco. Because it is located a little outside of Monaco, it's not as expensive as hotels in Monaco itself.

We were met at reception by a very pleasant and helpful lady, who was able to give us plenty of advice about the locality.

The hotel itself is quite old - nothing very fancy, but our room was clean, the showers lovely, and the air-conditioning a nice plus in hot weather. We had a room with a balcony & marvellous views of the sea. These rooms are not very plentiful, so do try to book well in advance.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. There was a good variety of food available, and a nice friendly atmosphere in the small dining area.

If you have time, try to visit the beautiful plage Mala. We bought some lovely filled bread rolls in the boulangerie across from the hotel & had a very nice picnic on the beach. It's quite a steep walk down to the beach, but definitely worth it.

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, the local bus will bring you into Monaco for 1 Euro. Be careful at night however - the bus finishes early, and you may have to find another way back to the hotel. We got a taxi for 4 people which cost us 18 Euro - I was afraid that it was going to cost a lot more!

I would definitely stay in this hotel again. It's basic, but clean & has very pleasant staff.

Room Tip: Be sure to request a room with a balcony. You have to pay a little more, but it's worth it...

I went with my boyfriend and we had a great time! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room has a nice balcony with sea-view which was lovely. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel has small parking free of charge but it was full almost every day but across the street was a big, public pay-parking. A short walk from the hotel is the beach Plage Mala. Its a nice beach where you rent a sunbed for 43€ its a bit expensive but nice.We will definitely go back and stay in this hotel.

My friend and I stayed here recently when we booked to go to the Monte Carlo Open tennis tournament and it really was a good find. The hotel is situated on the main road to Monaco but we had rooms at the back (23 and 24) which had sea views and very large balconies with table and chairs, sun bed and electronic sun shade, and we were not disturbed at all by any traffic noise. As previous articles mention, there is a bus outside that takes you to Monaco, and the station is near the beach which is a nice walk down but quite strenuous uphill walk back! The room itself was simple, quite large and spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a really good shower. The owner, Beatrice, is just lovely and very helpful and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was continental, fresh and tasty with cheese and ham and yogurts etc. Opposite the hotel is the tourist office and also a really lovely little park.
All in all a great place to stay if you don’t want to pay Monaco’s inflated prices – it may only be two star but actually we thought it better than that and certainly better than some 3 and 4 star hotels we had stayed at in the past!

My wife and I travelled to the Cote d'Azur for 4 days, staying at the Hotel Miramar for the entire time. We booked a double room with a view and a balcony (a must). This way, you have a great view of the sea and you look onto a small courtyard below (instead of the busy main street that connects all the locals towns and cities).

The room itself is nothing to write home about although is clean and comfortable which is mainly what we look for in a hotel as we only stay for a short time. The price of the hotel was much cheaper that something equivalent in nearby Nice or Monaco yet all nearby towns and cities are very accessible. A city bus which picks you up right outside the hotel and arrives every 15 minutes can take you to Monaco (5 minutes) and Nice (35 minutes) and all towns in between. Take note that the bus is quite busy and the driver often treats the windy, hilly coastal road as an F1 racetrack so be prepared to hang onto something when you get on.

The owner of the hotel (who is at the front desk there nearly the entire time). Is quite friendly and helpful and had some great suggestions for our travels.
The only drawback was that the town of Cap d'Ail is quite small so your choices on places to eat are somewhat limited and there's only one restaurant open on a Sunday evening (although this seems to be common in all the places we went in France).

This hotel is excellent in many ways - service, location, scenery, price. I travelled with two of my girlfriends and it was a great ''launching pad'' to Nice and Monaco - each only a 15 minute train or bus ride away. Our room had a big balcony overlooking the sea. We even slept outside one night! The rooms are well looked after with a spacious and very nice shower room. Free wifi access. It is family run and the service is excellent and very friendly and professional at the same time. There are incredibly beautiful beaches very nearby. Breakfast is very nice too. Right beside the hotel, there is a super market. I would definitely go back there! :)

We visted Cote D'Azur for the first time and stayed at the Miramar as it was cheap and gave easy access to Monaco and Monte Carlo which are walking distance, or a short bus / taxi trip.

The rooms were of adequate standard to sleep but did not offer much for day time activity. Bus stop is outside which makes travelling very easy. Amazing view of the sea from the balcony. 10 minute walk to a nice beach with an amazing evening restaurant.

Absolute bargain for this location. Highly recommended.
